We have stayed here several times. It’s practical, so close to Bondi beach by bus, basically it’s also above the bus and train station that gets you anywhere in Sydney super quickly and it’s across the road from a large Westfields with several supermarkets and eateries nearby. The location cannot be beaten in my opinion. We paid extra for a two bedroom harbour view suite and the views were simply amazing. The staff are very accomodating to all needs and do their best to meet guest requests quickly. Other than this though they leave you alone. No room cleaning unless requested. No towel changes or restocking of basics unless requested - and you need to request as they don’t leave much in your rooms (dishwash liquid, laundry liquid, dishwasher tablets, coffee pods, toilet paper, bathroom products). Sometimes it’s easier to just get your own from the nearby supermarkets. The main gripe we have is that the showers in both our rooms leaked, resulting in big pools of water on the whole bathroom floor every time you showered so you need to use multiple towels to mop it up which means you need to request extra towels each day as they are just dripping wet soaked through. There is also no process for getting rid of wet soiled towels. No t sure if you need to request these be taken away too. The other issue is we had one of the king beds unzipped and converted into two singles but the doonas were still king sized and so heavy and unwieldy it was like having a dead body weight on top of you all night - massive king size wool doonas hanging over the bed and falling off the bed all night. I think at the price we are paying they should invest in single doona’s and perhaps consider a less weighty option. I also think there’s a flaw with the shower design and new shower receptacles are needed to rectify investment in a poor product that is faulty - clearly many previous attempts made to seal the leaks have failed. These things undermined the cost we paid to stay here. That said we love it there, the location is amazing and staff are very good and we will continue to stay here whenever we are in Sydney.

Having stayed at Meriton Suites Bondi Junction in the past we had a good idea what to expect. Our latest visit in February 2024 was for 9 nights spread over two stays. The Meriton suite complex is massive and split into three blocks but is easy to navigate.
The suites have been upgraded since our last visit years ago with everything needed for a comfortable stay with fully equipped kitchen, spacious open living area as well as great views from the balcony.
The location of the Meriton is very convenient with the bus and railway station being situated on the ground floor level of the building, buses (bus#333) into the city run frequently from the bus stop along Grafton Street, literally a few steps from the hotel entrance. Bondi Westfield and Bondi Junction centre a few minutes walk away, and Bondi Beach is short ride by bus or a 40 minute walk.
We enjoyed most recent stays and hope to be back again soon.

I booked one of Meriton's Studio apartments for two nights and expected a smallish size size room, but in fact I found my room to be huge with ample top class furniture and flooring, very pleasing to the eye. Separate spacious modern bathroom and very comfortable King size bed in the bedroom. Good lighting and air conditioning. My room also had an enclosed balcony which offered a pleasant view of the surrounding area, but traffic noise deterred me from spending time there. The rest of the apartment completely insulated, so the traffic noise could not be heard from inside when the balcony doors were closed. A very nice swimming pool was available for use and it also was kept clean in very good condition. The Meriton Bondi Junction is contained in three tall hotel towers where indoor corridors were always kept clean and properly marked, so guests could find their way to their rooms. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and always available to help guests with any queries. This hotel is also backs on to the malls and shops and public transport (buses and subway trains), all easily accessed. Only a two to three minute walk from hotel to eateries and supermarkets. Bondi Beach, a 15 minute ride from the hotel by bus.

Well, this is the first time I've written feedback ever. What a very poor experience we had at the Meriton at Bondi Junction.
Arriving late, we asked for a king bed to be divided into 2 singles for our children. Stating that it was too late to do that now, we asked if we could be sent extra linen/bedding and we would separate the beds ourselves. The linen/bedding were bought to our room and we did manage to separate the beds. There was however, a lot of dirt/dust etc from under the beds. Fair enough.
The next morning we asked if the beds could be properly made and the room cleaned. We were told yes; but it wasn't.
When we arrived back at the hotel that night, we asked for the service again. To no avail.
The next morning I talked to a manager who assured it would be completed. It was not.
That evening I asked again. Still nothing.
The next morning we checked out. Interestingly, I received an email later that morning from another manager apologising 'that your recent stay has not met your expectations. Your feedback is valued and will be used for the training and development of our teams'. The manager left a message on my phone too, stating that she would like to chat, but I have made 5 calls to the Meriton and the manager has never been available.
Interestingly, I never raised my voice, or got angry with the staff. I was always polite and courteous. The only cheeky thing I suggested to the manager on the 2nd morning was that perhaps some discount on the cost of the rooms be made but was told because we slept there it was not possible. Perhaps a stronger position and a louder voice would have made a difference. Perhaps a tantrum in the lobby would have got the job done.

I am currently staying at Meriton Bondi Junction and am very unhappy with the level of service that I am receiving.
I am a long stay guest at Meriton.
From day 1, service at reception was appalling and unwelcoming as if the lady at reception was doing me a huge favor.
The room itself is meant to be fully serviced and cleaned once a week.
The room was left dusty, uncleaned unvacuumed and mirrors full of hand prints. Waste bins were not cleared.
The shower has a leak with water running under the door and this was pointed out to management with no resolve.
Remote control for television has no back cover and batteries keep falling out - again this was addressed with management and no resolve.
When my husband called reception to complain the manager said she cannot leave her desk to come check the apartment which is absolutely unacceptable. She eventually decided to come up later. Her attitude was not very apologetic at all.
Linen on bed includes a duvet cover wrapped between two sheets? Is this the norm?
Very disappointed with the poor service!

Great location but the thing that let this down was the cleaning. We stayed in tower 1 and no appliances worked it was tired and run down. We shifted to tower 3 the newest tower only 4 years old and in the 4 weeks we stayed there we only had our room serviced once, we asked multiple times but they are useless, we had to buy cleaning products and clean the place ourselves. Will never stay again as ur paying the same amount for hotel.

I booked this as a birthday surprise treat for my husband at the end of our aussie holiday and had requested a room up high with an amazing view as a surprise for him. I guess they don’t read the booking notes and even though I booked directly with them we got a low floor with a view of the overpass. I was so disappointed. I realise they can’t guarantee requests but they weren’t full!
The 1 bed luxury suite failed to meet expectations inside. The place was quite dirty, cobwebs on the kitchen window, dust everywhere, someone else’s handprints on the windows, dirty windowsills, a filthy toaster with crumbs outside and inside, broken surround around the oven and the dishes were dirty. The coffee table had someone else’s food around the edge. Housekeeping need to be retrained as what a five star room should look like.
The room we had been put in didn’t even have a balcony (they mention all their rooms have balconies – well there was a tiny Juliet balcony that wasn’t even the width of a child’s foot not like the pictures of outdoor table and chairs). Another thing they mention is hair straighteners – never found them.
The parking was a major issue, there is very limited parking and we went around for ages, when I went to book in and ask where to park I was told if we can’t find one to go to the Wilsons nearby. They waited while hubby went around and around to find a park before they checked me in. Once you get a park you are too scared to leave it as you are likely not to get another again.
The acoustics in the check in area are appalling too – good luck trying to hear what they are saying when it’s busy!
The location was good, bus and train underneath and a supermarket across the road were great but we could have stayed at a cheaper place and still had those nearby. Checking out, we weren't asked if everything was ok with our stay, they didn't even smile. No pleasantries at all.
I had high expectations of this place having seen the photos online but it sadly this place didn’t deliver. Don't expect a 5 star hotel and you won't leave disappointed like we have. Until they sort out the basics, look elsewhere and save your money.

We were a party of 6. Booked a three bedroom harbor view suite with one room with twin beds. We did not get room keys until 2 hours after the 3pm check in. We were told there was only one 3 bedroom suite in our category and that was why it was taking so long to get the room ready.(When we were checking out, I asked the person on duty how many three bedroom suites with our category and view were available, I was told there were 30) Every time we checked with the front desk we were told they were still cleaning the room or the supervisor had to make sure the room was ready and had to sign off. When we got to the room there were only two towels for 6 people. Guess the supervisor forgot to check that. I called and requested additional towels and hand towels. An hour later two additional towels were delivered. I went into the kitchen to make food for dinner. All of the plates, glasses and cutlery were put away with food on them. I had to put everything through the dishwasher before we could use them. Thank goodness we had a few paper plates and some plastic cutlery so we were able to eat. I went to the front desk to see about more towels and to tell them about the dirty dishes. I was told they "would check into it and get back to me". Three days later when we checked out, no one had gotten back to me. Also please note that this is not a good hotel for walking to dinner. There is a Westfield mall across the street that is great for finding something for breakfast or lunch, but not so much for dinner as the mall closes up around 6pm

We booked a room for my parents to stay at bondi junction well in advance over 4 months ago. They stayed last week and had an ok room and specifically asked the manager for a high floor room, today we checked them in bang on 3 pm to be given the shittest room next to the car park on the basement level after requesting multiple times a high floor room.
You wouldn’t expect to get the worst room in the building when booking so far in advance.
After explaining they were not comfortable staying next to the car park door we asked for another room. The first woman on the reception desk was absolutely useless and basically told us nothing she could do and handed us to the manager. He then advised he could give us one room which we waited for for over 30 mins all in all it took over an hour for them to get into a type of room that they should of had in the first place, although it’s still pretty crap. The whole experience with the front desk was the worse service I have ever had, every other hotel would actually apologise and get a new room straight away or even give a room upgrade should another room not be cleaned- although at 4pm you would expect all rooms to be clean considering check in is at 3pm.
Cannot get over the staff’s attitude, avoid this place at all costs don’t waste your money total shambles.

Just arrived home after 10 days at This Great Property. Apartment was amazing, huge, well appointed, great views and excellent location. It is a huge property and sadly they are very short staffed due to Covid. Rooms were only serviced once during our 10 day stay but we were made aware of this and got extra towels and supplies to help us thru. They were fast and obliging if we needed anything. Check in was very busy but it was also a long weekend, staff that they did have on were doing an awesome job. We were a little worried prior to our stay about previous bad reviews which I actually think were very harsh. It has a Westfield Mall right next door and all transport options are right there. Only thing I’d say about the location is there’s not a huge amount of restaurants, cafes or bars nearby except across in shopping mall but Bondi Beach is a really easy bus trip or cheap Uber away and has heaps of options. We will definitely be returning to this great Hotel. Just wish people wouldn’t be so harsh in their reviews or impatient with the staff, they really are doing their best.
