For an Ibis, it is about average, the 3-bed room is clean, and not too tiny - which is not usual - in this chain. The environment is quiet, no noise at night, except the very noisy ventilation. The breakfast is not bad, nothing extraordinary but sufficient, and for once not too expensive. A very big plus, there is a large underground parking lot, which is free. Extremely rare these days and even more so in Switzerland,
The only slightly negative thing is the price, during the week it is expensive, but it's Switzerland and it depends on the day. For less money in France, the Ibis in Thonon les Bains, half the price but you have to take the boat in the morning or go around the lake.

Like many Ibis, this one is also on the outskirts (and obviously we knew it), in a dark industrial area, but quite quiet and close to the A1/E23 junction (if desired, the Léman Center Crissier is not far away either, which however closes at 7pm :30). From the city centre, with afternoon traffic, it takes more than half an hour by car.
Parking is quite limited and also requires a fee.
The hotel inside is nice and above all clean.
The room is small, the third bed has no bedside table or lamp, but for a night or two it is adequate. I confirm the positive impression of cleanliness.
The hotel has a bar and a small internal restaurant (the latter closed some days of the week). We took advantage of it for dinner and had a good time. It is small, the dishes available are not many, but well cooked, with courteous and punctual service; not very expensive for Switzerland (albeit on the outskirts).
Breakfast is not included in the price (even though no one had checked), but we also took advantage of it. Normal for the type of hotel, with a decent sweet and savory assortment, all self-service.
I don't have the details of the rates applied, because no receipt was issued and I thought it would have arrived by e-mail, but oh well: triple room (with A.L.L. member discount), parking and breakfast in total. €256.
One aspect, discovered later, but by now we were already in Ouchy and which I was rather disappointed about: the tourist tax should be issued with a pass with free public transport and discounts in the city museums. I didn't know and therefore didn't ask, they immediately asked if we had to pay for parking and if we wanted breakfast, but nothing about the pass! They told us the next morning at the ticket office of the Musée Olympique and I was really disappointed (it affected the rating, which otherwise would have been superior)!

An Ibis hotel in all respects, having tried many in the past in various parts of Europe. It's not in the center, so you need a car (the hotel has paid parking outside and inside), but it offers you free tickets for the entire stay, both for buses and for the subway, which we used to get around center in Lausanne and to reach the lake. The staff is very kind and helpful. They immediately changed our room when we reported a problem with the air conditioning. They even offered us a drink at the bar after we reported it. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is also well prepared, in a tidy and very clean environment, with every kind of need. I never found any files or snags. We even had dinner one evening and had a great time. In any case, the hotel is located in a very smart area. There are restaurants in the area and large supermarkets and petrol stations. Just be aware that many are closed on Sundays and the Ibis restaurant is closed from Friday to Sunday, except for the bar. However, recommended for those who want to delve deeper into the beautiful area of Lake Leman.

This is absolutely an unacceptable hotel that claims to have a 3-star rating. In the room even basic facilities like a kettle are not provided. Customers need to pay another CHF14 to get a mini bar fridge. The room does not provide hot water because no kettle is provided. We had to go to the communal area to get help for hot water. The toilet door has no lock and cannot be fully closed. Sound proofing is absolutely a joke - my family of four could not sleep well as we were terribly affected by the lodger upstairs talking, dragging chair along in late night and early morning. I went upstairs to ask why the lodgers caused so much noise without thinking of people living downstairs. We were not enjoying the stay in the IBIS room but counting how many days remaining to leave this place. I have to say my family will certainly avoid IBIS brand in our holiday/business trip from now on and spread this experience in my community.

It's not the first time we've stayed at the IBIS in Crissier. Very convenient to reach from the motorway (and equally to return) we take it every time we go to the Geneva Motor Show. And this year I wanted to overdo it: in fact, I didn't just stop on the night of the return journey, but also on the night of the outward journey. Previous experiences convinced me to return. This also applies to the restaurant in the hotel, but.... Yes, the latter is a bit of a disappointment. One of their specialties was making various types of Rösti and it was disappointing to find that this opportunity no longer exists. But even more disappointing was discovering that in the evening between Friday and Saturday (but if I understood correctly also the evening after) the restaurant does not serve.
In any case, it would not be correct to totally penalize the hotel due to the changes in the restaurant (where the food continues to be good).
The hotel continues to serve well (currently renovations are underway) and the rooms are comfortable. So the valuation remains high.

Excellent stay, I have rarely seen such warm customer service. A little thought of Hervé and Sylvain who are very helpful and welcoming and who did not hesitate to make this stay all the more pleasant for us. As for the room, the bed is very comfortable. The room is simple but worth the price. I will most likely come back!
