Haftrango complex is where you live the life of locals! Here you stay with locals, observe the life of locals, eat local foods, enjoy local music and you name it. I tried to restore my house to most of traditional style of my island and here you will enjoy the most authentic life of Qeshm. Our location: We are in the middle of the Island exactly in the center of Geopark (Chah-Kooh, Tandis Valley and Salt Cave) and so close to the airport (15 min), Mangrove Forest and some other small Islands such as Hengam. Our Tour: Diving, Snorkeling, water Ski, kite Boarding, Fishing, Trekking in Geopark and Canyons, Walking around in the village and ... How you can reach us: From main cities from Iran you can take a flight or bus (Shiraz, Tehran, Isfahan, Mashhad) From Dubai you can take a flight and you don't need Visa for 2 weeks.

I am still in amazement from my experience in Haft Rangoo! This amazing, rather massive, place(s) is as sweet as your own holiday house. Everybody is so friendly here; if you want to hang out there are always people to spend time with and if you want to be by yourself they won't bother you even for a second. If you want somewhere comfy you better stay in the main house but if you want to experience a local Southern Iranian space ask Hassan to give you a room in the back house. The back house is astonishing in my opinion whereas the main house is just a normal nice house. The food (served three times a day) is unbelievable. You can count on having local food such as ghalieh and havari for every lunch and for your dinner you would get the best falafel and samosa you have ever had. Breakfasts are served with fresh bread to make your day beautiful. People of Haft Rangoo will also take you to all the natural attractions of the island as well as to ship-making workshops. You can also go for water-skiing or other watersports with them and enjoy your stay even more. Considering all of these (even half of these!) Haft Rangoo is a very reasonably priced accommodation as well. I recommend this place to everybody who has the decency of enjoying a place for the sake of that place... and interestingly enough this place is the most admirable places in Qeshm Island.

Haft Rangoo was a wonderful surprise to us... Simply the best place to stay in Qeshm if you want to be close to nature and surrounded by fun people.
The place is set up and managed in a fluid yet organised way -- thanks to Hassan, the young and energetic owner, and his team of people. The rooms are clean and decorated simply and elegantly. The delicious local meals are served on the raised wooden benches under the shade of trees in the garden. The nights are spent drinking tea around the fire and exchanging stories with other traveller. Simply great!
Hassan and his team organise great trips around the island, including a memorable trip with a bunch of cool travellers to the Mangrove forests, water skiing, eating fire-grilled crabs and prawns, and watching the sun go down.
Don't think twice about going there!
Thanks guys for a memorable time in Qeshm! Sahar & Kamal

We were lucky enough to heard about Hassan and its tours while in Shiraz (Parhami Traditional House) as we were headed south on our month long trip in Iran. Hassan and its family were exceptional hosts, his place was exactly what we were looking for, traditional, simple and very affordable (we personnaly found Qeshm city souless and prefered venture on the countryside with a rental car). Speaking of accomodations, the rooms are big and clean with thin mattresses on the ground and the 4 very clean and modern showers are shared. Hassan is also an ecoguide so he organized a great boat tour around Qeshm for everyone staying at his place (great price too here). Our stay was definitely one of the highlights of our trip and I greatly recommend Hassan as great professional and an extremely kind and fun person.

If this is your first trip to Qeshm, you are in good hands. These people have tours to secluded areas where you can do water activities and enjoy yourself. They are very warm and friendly and show you a great time. Rooms are extremely modest which we didn’t mind but could be cleaner and service could seriously improve. You have a 100% local experience in a laid back ambiance. BUT it’s overpriced for an Iranian hostel! We paid 400,000 per person per night. Tours are expensive. We paid over 2 million per person for 3 or 4 of them which is quite a lot. Transportation is very expensive. They charge 100,000 tomans to take you to the closest restaurant which is a 10 minute drive and bring you back. Overall, we had a great time but will try to find a more reasonable place next time.

I dont know what other travellers experienced here, but I did not like this place at all. The location is far out, so you are very dependent on tours with the owner, which of course cost money. The village itself is quite boring. The food is in comparison with other food I have tasted in Iran rather boring and my stomach felt very much irritated afterwards. The fish for example is fried way too long. So to me I rather prefer to stay in Qeshm City, cause I can go around by myself look at the basar and to the beach etc. The rooms are very boring, beds are on the floor, sheets dirty, no clean towels, bugs on the floor. No view or nothing interesting.

Slow travel may be sounds good in philosophical level, but its not practical. This house has no timetable. So, at morning you waiting breakfast. It arrive around nine. This mean you arrive you site after 10 am. Then its ready hot and best light is gone. I told to owner my wish and purpose by photography, still i lost fresh and best part of day. But you can skip breakfast if you have own vehicle. At some evenings no dinner. Then they give a ride to nearest kebab place. There is better place to eat. So, you can skip dinner as well. Pay only by room if you want stay here for some reason. But you can also skip it and stay near Tabl village. Ask receipt when pay, its good practice for them.

first of all, there is two house in fact, one house is traditional which are mostly managed by Hassan and it seems that is considered for young couples, young guys and social friends, another one is ordinary house which managed by Hassan uncle considered for families and older people. there is very poor management and services, only Ayesheh (daughter of Hassan's uncle) is responsible for service to guests in two house. there is no one available for answer your questions, guide you, take your orders and service to you. the rates for car and driver as well as dinner and lunch fees were not clear till last moment despite our investigation. also it is essential to consider that because of house geographical position which is far from city, you are obliged to use driver and cars offered by them, any how the environment is warm between guests which is a characteristic of this kind of houses, the rooms are not very clean, it is somehow messy and only Ayesheh is available for service the guests which is not enough for all guests (more that 30 person) at time.

I stayed in Haft Rangoo village with lovely Sharifi family in April 2017.
I have to admit that I was expecting much cleaner sleeping and toilet areas judging from pictures posted here and other social platforms but that didn't change the amount of fun and adventure we experienced there.
Be aware that there are three main areas you can book your rooms in and below are the differences and recommendations: Rooms in the Old Yard (Khooneh Ghadimi): This is the main yard and the oldest one. Most of images from Haft Rangoo are from this yard. Rooms here are not en-suite but there is a communal shower and toilet area. There is also a communal kitchen area with tea and coffee provided. Rooms are really cosy with good air conditioning systems and beautiful traditional interior design. This is the nicest yard in my opinion but can get a bit noisy if other rooms are booked and your neighbours want to stay out after midnight. If there are a lot of you travelling as a group this can be a good option.
Rooms in the Gallery Yard: These rooms are in the same yard as the Gallery (small shop where they sell local food, handicrafts and clothes). Office is also in this yard recently renovated. I didn't check the rooms but from outside they looked pretty decent and the communal toilets where in a good condition. They told me a group of 20 travellers can book all rooms in this yard.
Rooms in the Uncle's House: If you are looking for quiet en-suite rooms, this can be a good option but be aware that rooms here are nothing like rooms in other yards. They haven't been renovated and the interior design is pretty dull and aged. I have to also mention that the bathrooms are not in a good condition. We stayed at Hassan's uncle house which is managed by Abdol Rahmaan (the cousin). Abdol Rahmaan was truly helpful and kindly tried his best to make us feel welcomed and comfortable in his house. He was our main contact although we booked through Hassan. He was really good with planning our day-out tours and arranging our transport and everyone liked his humour from the moment we entered his house.
The team who were responsible for taking us out to tourist attractions around were very knowledgeable and kind including Faisal and Mohammad but could only make basic English conversations.
And finally the gem of Sharifi's residential, Ayeshe! She mainly took care of our food and made sure that everyone is happy with the service. She was really polite and helpful.
We visited Stars Valley, Khorbaz Cave, Salt Cave, Tandis, Hara (Mangrove Forest), Hengam (dolphins) and Naaz Islands and recommend them all.
The price per person per night including the stay, food and tours turned out to be cheap and we were in total happy with our stay at Haft Rangoo.
Some hints: - Remember to take your own sheets, towels and slippers otherwise you'll suffer if you are a bit conscious about cleanliness like me. - If possible ask your driver to stop at the closest supermarket so you can get some bottled water as you might not like the taste of the tab water and ask them to keep them in the fridge for you. - Make sure that you confirm your next-day plan with Abdol Rahman and remind him the night before. - They serve breakfast from 8:00 am but depending on the number of guests they have, this can be delayed up to two hours. - Dinner can be delayed quite often so let them know the time you want to have your dinner ready by and keep reminding them. - Take Abdol Rahman's phone number and save it for emergencies.

If you are planning to visit Qeshm Island, forget staying at the conventional hotels as they have nothing special to offer.
Having visited the Island several times I most definitely recommend Hassan's Lodge in Haft-Rangoo Village. The lodge is conveniently located and a short drive from the Airport, Pickup and drop off's can be coordinated in advance.
The Lodge offers a unique insight into the minimalistic lifestyle of the local Islanders. It allows you to leave all you daily routines behind and get back to basics of uncomplicated socializing with both the locals and other guest staying at the lodge.
The Lodge has 7 suites and 2 ensuite rooms available. Each room can accommodate a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 persons. Perfect for a group visits and tours.
The rooms are very clean and the lodge is well maintained. The staff are exceptionally, kind, friendly and helpful.
Hassan Sharifi, the owner is an absolute delight, he will guide and co-ordinate all your sight seeing and activities inside and around the Island as required.
All in all Hassan's Lodge and Haft-Rangoo Village is a unique experience for those who want a break from their current lifestyle and are open to trying new things.
2 packages are available;
1. Room Only @ the rate of 10$ per person/night excluding breakfast. 2. All Inclusive, room, breakfast, lunch and dinner @ 25$ per person/night.
Either way an absolute bargain.
While staying on the Island, I recommend you to visit the Haraa Forest, Salt Caves and the neighboring Island of Hengam if you are feeling overly adventures.
Don't forget to try the local delights; Ghalihmahi, Havari, grilled local fish, Prawn, lobster and crab.
Hope your stay in Hassan's Lodge will be as delightful as ours.
Keep up the good work Hassan, and see you soon.
Nazanin☺️

Haftrangoo is a friendly traditional housing and tour organizer in Qeshm. We were a group of 18 people who stayed there for 4 days and nights. we chose the old part of the house and were happy with our choice very much. Hasan ( the main organizer) programmed our daily sightseeing pretty well and his team ( Saleh, Hasan koochikoo, Mohamad Saleh) took really good care of us. we were transported by a HiAce and a Hilux, though some unexpected interruptions happened (like the vehicle going broke) they made sure we did not fall behind our program. We visited almost every well known place in Qeshm Island. I really suggest Naqashe Beach beside all other places for those who are looking for a calm beech full of beautiful and colorful shells, crabs, see stars etc. we had great homemade traditional food at Haftrangoo. It was not too spicy as we expected the traditional Bandari Cuisine to be. It was just good. the rooms were simple. A/C is available in some of them, others have a ceiling fan. central yards atmosphere is very pleasant with a shelter made of palm trunks for gatherings.
there were different groups of foreigners staying at Haftrangoo at the same time we were, and organizers had acceptable knowledge of English to communicate with them. also as Iranian youth often come to Haftrangoo, it is possible for foreigners to communicate well with other travellers.
