Detailed Reviews
Lard Guest House is a great place to stay: It is a traditional house with a relaxing and personal atmosphere so that one feel immediately at home. Not to forget the hammocks between palm trees in the yard: No better place to stay, make new friends and to take a break from everyday life. The owner loves to improve the hostel with DIY projects. Currently, he is creating a rooftop terrace from which one can see the sunset.

I stayed here for 5 nights ,
The location (for the seaside) was really good , i went to the beach by bicycle every morning and it took just up to 10 mins.
If you want to be close to the city, this spot 20 mins away from the city.
The staff was really kind and caring.
The motel was really cute and it has 2 yard one of them was designed very beautiful specially at night l.

Lard is a nicely decorated old house with modern facilities like wifi and a/c. There are carpets and pillows to sit on and simple rooms with matrasses for sleeping (also with a/c).
Amer, the owner is a very friendly host who speaks good english and really takes care of you. He prepares dinner if you like and makes sure everything is fine for you.
He bought fresh fish and took us to the beach with his brothers. We got a very tasty fish from the bbq, at the sea under the stars. Great!!
The second night we went to the park where his family was having diner. We ate ash, shark, salad, and more local dishes on a carpet on the ground with his whole family. They were so very nice to us! True Iranian hospitality!
We had a very good time and we highly recommend staying at Lard Guesthouse!

It was sincerely one of the best places I've ever been like a host. The personal is super friendly. They were taking care of my friend and me. I felt like at home.
I'm gonna miss it and I will come back for sure :)

We stayed at Lard guesthouse for four days, me and wife left with memories from that place that will bring us again there.
Amer picked us up from the little airport of Qeshm island, after hours of delay we felt so embarrassed but as soon as we met him all of our feelings turned positive.
Amer had already planned for us daily trips to the island and the islands around and also daily specials (local wedding, meeting with locals)
The Tea! As soon as we woke up, there was a tea ready for us, as soon as we came back from our daily trip, there was the same delicious tea... in the evening sitting and chatting.. the tea we simply wanted more of it!
The room itself was maybe bigger than some apartments and the house offered many spaces indoor and outdoor for an amazing chillout.
If you are a meat lover go for the local goat meat.. ohhh
Thank you Amer (and the guys) for your hospitality, We will come again and your gonna teach me to do THE tea.

Aamer and friends have set up a cool little spot here. It's a super chilled place to hang out with some friendly local residents to boot!
It is isolated, so you'll need a car to go anywhere. But we had some nice walks around the village and down to the ocean.
Aamer was super helpful with helping us to book an airplane ticket and went out of his way to make sure we got to the airport on time!
Thanks for the fun times! We wish we could have stayed for longer. My Farsi would have got much better if we did.
Moqaffaf. Kar-e baz. Qati pati!!
Hey guys. miss you. Hope you are well!

It was so difficult for my boyfriend and me to find a nice and comfortable place to stay on Quesm Island. But Lard Guesthouse is just the perfect place to stay, while you're visiting the Island. Suza is also a nice small city with a beautiful beach.
The stuff is so welcoming, caring, and helpful!! They all helped us out, organizing our hiking-outdoor trip and even taking care of our backpacks while we were hiking for two days.
Just the perfect place to have a nice stay in a traditional, family-like atmosphere. We would definitely come back again!! :)

The rooms are traditional, sleeping on carpets, although there are also some with very nice double beds. The house has a very good inner courtyard for breakfasts, dinners and relaxing moments, also on the traditional raised beds. The only problem is that during the day there are no people who speak English, the owner is absent and visitors are left without information that they could need for their trip or for anything.

This is a very nice guesthouse, decorated in a traditional colorful way with many objects exposed to remind the history and traditions of the island.
You can eat good breakfast and other meals at this place, especially delicious local goat kebab. You can also ask for the mind blasting halva that comes from the island (but beware it is hard to stop eating it). There is also traditional live music 3 times a week.
The place also got new mattresses that I could test and that were very nice.
The best part is the owner, Amer, and incredibly kind and charismatic person, and his staff. Since when I stayed there, there were not many guests, I spent some time having very interesting conversations with him. He is originally from Suza and knows a lot about the island and its people and is keen to share this with travelers. He can organize any activity or tour around the island or help you organize it the way you want. I had much fun trying for the first time paragliding, during sunset, visiting the Star Valley etc... The good time I had at this homestay makes me want to come back to Qeshm soon and try other activities I didn't have time to do, such as diving and going to see the dolphins. This was definitely my best time in Iran! Thank you Amer
