This is the third time in the last three years that we have brought supporters groups to this wonderful hotel. The staff as ever worked hard to ensure that every wish was catered for, and I would say they definitely achieved this aim. The rooms are well sized and the All Inclusive style leaves you wanting for very little, the...

Our crowd had another lovely holiday at Discovery Bay late Jan into Feb. It is hard to see why some folk have a problem with this super place, but then, hey, we are all different. As so many have said, friendly caring staff, nice big garden, best bit of beach around here, ideal location in all respects, food always OK,...

You know that old pair of shoes that are so comfortable you just can't throw them away? Or perhaps it's a sweater. It looks a bit tired, but it still fits and it's so warm! This is Discovery Bay. Sure it's seen better days and could do with a refit (they're gradually doing that) but for a restful informal holiday...

This is our first time staying here. We aren't too picky and stay normally at 3.5-5 stars. However I notice the staff is very unhappy. Actually puts a negative mood in the environment! The food is OK. Needs a bit of creativity I would say. The pool bartenders well the only bar on the resort that services drinks always seem...

We stayed here for a third time. Love the relaxed atmosphere here. Food was good and some gentle entertainment provided. It has a good outlook onto garden and beach. We'd go again. We always go in February in order to catch the colourful festival. It's and easy walk into Hometown itself and the bus stop is opposite the hotel

We have just returned after a 9 night stay. Beautiful beaches and you can walk for miles along them. We swam in the sea but found the water in the pool too cold. Food was good and always plenty of choice and quantity. Same with the drinks. The staff always tried to please. There were improvements to the hotel being...

Hotel room, food, beach was good. The receptionist was most helpful to point where we got a late check out because we had a late flight. It caters to families so my one year old felt right at home lol. what a spectular hotel...i also liked how they maintained its wooden structure which shows Barbados is serious about its history....

If you decide to come to this hotel you need to understand that it's shabby, the food is mediocre and the majority of the guests are past the prime of their lives and therefore treat this resort as a retirement home in the sun. If you're fine with all of that and you think you can just focus on enjoying...

this was our third visit to Discovery Bay (other guests have returned many many times) and we slipped back into relax mode very quickly. The hotel is not the prettiest, not the most modern and not new but it has one of the best positions on one of the best beaches on the island. Staff are friendly and the food...
