Having visited this fantastic island many times and experienced five other hotels, we picked Mango Bay Hotel (on Trip A's advice) as our normal "all inclusive" hotel in Speigtstown had closed down awaiting new owners. For three weeks we have experienced total chill out, excellent service, very nice staff, good food (could put many London restraurants to shame)". The problems...

Just lovely, very laid back, good food, very good service, clean rooms, swam in the sea every day on going works not a problem. The only noise was on a Sunday night didn't bother us as so tired after flight! Added bonus we were allowed to keep our room up to just before we were picked up to go to...

We returned 2weeks ago from an amazing trip in this lovely hotel! When we arrived we were greater by hermione who had cold towels and rum punch (or fruit punch) waiting, she booked us in quickly and efficiently and gave us a tour of the hotel. The next morning we were dismayed to discover that there was building works happening...

We had our honeymoon at Mango Bay. Overall impression was very relaxing and chilled. ALL the bar staff are excellent. As previously stated by others, there were mechanical workings on the beach which didn't bother us at all. Alternative locations are offered. Breakfast was defo the best meal of the day, mostly because it was self service. Freshly cooked eggs...

Very good and helpful staff. Rooms very clean and cleaning staff very helpful. Food good. Unfortunately beach works still ongoing, but so much to do in Barbados. We went on a trip everyday. Hotel arranged two day trips to another beach. The hotel also offered a trip on a cataraman to swim with turtles and a trip on a glass...

Second stay at Mango Bay, this time earlier in the month of November. The weather was fantastic, spent the entire time on the beach, which had been re done by the workers. This was however washed away by some large swells that had been created by a heavy storm at sea. We can't stop Mother Nature!! The beach has been...

Of the 3 Caribbean country resorts we have visited, this one tops them! Friendly & helpful staff. The small size of the resort helps make the place what it is, very personable. We by chance met the owner, who has such a heart for his business, his guests & the people of his country. After having a very bad/scary/expensive experience...

Just returned from Mango Bay, had a lovely holiday. Although I do agree that this hotel is not a 4star, I shall definitely be returning. Negatives are that rooms are a little tired and need updating, food was consistently tepid, choice of pastries at breakfast and afternoon tea very limited. Far too many flies! Not enough music around bar area...
