This hotel offers many good things and is a good pick for a holiday in Barbados. The location near Holetown means that there are many shops and restaurants close at hand ranging from local to very upmarket. The hotel itself is set in very attractive...More

My wife really loved the hotel and the staff. She loved the colonial 'feel', she appreciated all the greenery and the gardens, and she especially loved the fact that the small but functional gym was almost always empty. I on the other hand, really did...More

We have read all the reviews about this hotel being family run, great staff, blah blah! But honestly, it's just not true. The rooms are old fashioned and the service is too. Staff are "old school", stiff upper lips like an old English butler, and...More

A lovely family run hotel with longstanding staff. A beautiful restaurant and lovely beach. BBQ nights are always fun with dancing and fire eaters. New Year's Eve at the hotel has great fireworks and a really fun atmosphere. A haven, the only problem being you...More

In the evening you can’t flag down a taxi. Ask the hotel to book you one . The hotel will not charge you , but taxis are not cheap so if you can find someone to share with it’s a good option . Enjoy

There are a couple of pools - quite small and not so crowded though. Most people set up on the beach. I’ve never been unable to get a lounger.
