We arrived in Windora and went to the information centre, best advise and information there. The caravan park is council owned and someone comes and collects your money either by cash or card. The amenities are very clean and the washing machines are I only $4. Go and do the red sand hills about 12 KMS out of town there. Is a shed on your left and a gate on your right, turn right through the gate. The sun set is amazing. The sand and wild flowers are beautiful but I do recommend getting fly nets from the information centre as the flies are very thick. The service station has food supplies and fuel. The pub does meals and prices are reasonable for the area. We did day trips to Jundah and Stone Henge we also did the 4wd track out of stone henge. You can stay at both places and next time we will. We had lunch at Stone Henge pub and it was good food with many tales. Dont forget to go for as swim in coopers creek, there is free camping along the creek but I’m pretty sure the flies and midges would carry you away

We stayed there while driving through. The ground itself is new, so the trees aren't big enough to provide shade yet.
But the toilets are spotless with the nicest toilet paper we have seen so far. The showers warm and strong.
We'd definitely stay again the next time we are travelling nearby.

The old park, right in town was always overflowing so they build another one across the road from it. Good modern amenity's, and usually no charge or very little. Also worth mentioning is the big green grass (watered)paddock behind the Pub, which is free camping also. We stayed there and loved it. Includes showers, but they would like a bit of custom in the pub if you stay there.

Spacious caravan park walking distance to shop and pub. The lady who collects the fee is very friendly and helpful. Although the cost is low, there is everything a traveler needs. Well kept and clean.

Just $5 per person for an unpowered site, good facilities available including pay for washing machines. The mosquitoes and flys can be extremely thick and very annoying. Something to watch out for if in the area, they can make it unbearable.

Stayed in the new section. Beautiful new amenities and camp kitchen area. No shade at this time, however the old park across the road has some. The facilities there are also new. Certainly would come back.

Outstanding amenities and can't beat the value for money. Is a very popular stop but there is plenty of room between the two camping areas either side of the road. I was swagging it in the overflow area with no grass, only gravel and very hard ground. Could not hammer my pegs in to support the swag, bent several trying. However the amenities and camp kitchen were outstanding. I'd definitely recommend and will stay here again, but be prepared to tie off your swag for support, pegs won't work!!

There are two parts to the Windorah CP: an older more established section with dome trees and a bit of grass that would be best suited to warmer weather and, across the road, an open, gravelled area that is new with excellent facilities that seems to be favoured in cooler weather.
Staying in the park is very affordable with a council officer doing the rounds morning and evening to collect fees.
The park is on the Bedourie outskirts of town but still only a few minutes walk from the pub, cafes and shop.
An excellent facility in a lovely small town: Windorah gives out if it's way to encourage travellers yo stay a day or two.
