our least favourite accommodation throughout Morocco. It was well positioned on the edge of the desert within walking distance to the dunes. the swimming pool was inviting (too cold to swim at that time of the year though). But, that’s where it ended. The room was large but appeared to be very artificial and something out of the Flintstones! Bad... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights on a tour around Morocco. We arrived in a sandstorm which was an experience in itself! The rooms are large with a good shower and separate sink and wc. The food is buffet style and there is lots of choice. We went out on a trip around the desert in 4x4 vehicles... More

As part of a tour we stayed here after crossing the Atlas Mountains. Before dawn we took a walk into the desert to see the sun rise and during the day there was four-wheel driving arranged for we "aged hoons".The hotel made the most of local materials where fossils abound as even the bathroom fixtures were polished fossils. A pool... More

We spent one day in the hotel and this is a good place if you need time to rest! The place is nice, the room are very big (we had a bed for 4 people at least!), a good dinner (buffet) and breakfast. We also enjoyed the hammam, not cheap, but a good experience.

True to a complete experience of the Sahara Desert, our room was unique with a wardrobe built out of the wall, nicely folded towels doubled as wall decoration, comfortable beds, heater and shower that worked well. Lighting could be a little brighter and I miss making a cup of coffee in the morning. Checking in and out was a breeze... More

Although we were staying at Kasar Merzouga down the road we were informed that there are 2 places in Merzouga that have the dreaded alcohol. This was one of them and i was glad we tried it. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and decorated in lovely local fabrics and artwork. Bed very comfortable and shower great with lots of hot water, everything spotlessly clean. Unfortunately I was ill on the day that I arrived, but the manager and the staff could not have been more caring and helpful and made me as... More

The hotel has an interesting architecture, well-appointed rooms with many facilities, location on a brink of the desert, good restaurant, ample breakfast. Palm trees, sand dunes, moon and starlight, camels.

My husband and I just returned from a trip to Morocco. We spent one night at this hotel after spending a night at a tent encampment in the desert.
