Clean comfortable Rooms and lovely Entrance to the hotel. The reception Staff were helpful. The village of Mundesley is picturesque and the hotel has a old Victorian feel about it which has charm. I feel the hotel is trying to improve and were very hospitable......however we found the stay very expensive for the room we received, we paid £20 extra...

Called in for Sunday lunch having spotted it from the road. Extremely comfy, welcoming, dog friendly place. The Carvery was excellent , puddings even more so. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a good value substantial meal.

Stayed for a couple of nights whilst visiting friends in the area. Nice, no frills hotel with a clean basic room overlooking the coast and good value for money. The breakfast and food offering in general good and again represents value. Only downside was availability of wi-fi in the room which was very sporadic.

Having lived in Mundesley for many years, we made a quick return lunch visit. Although they were not busy we were welcomed by attentive staff. As it was almost the end of service we ordered quickly but were never rushed. Food was hot and plentiful. It was an enjoyable lunch. We would certainly return. We are planning to return on...

Had a weekend break here with a friend... the room which was a superior sea view was a view over the car park and side view of the sea. The toilet seat was to small for the actual toilet, and one of the twin beds mattress was too big for the Base..HOWEVER... it's a beautiful hotel.. lovely original features.. fantastic...

We have eaten in the hotel restaurant many times and found the whole experience wonderful. However last nights experience not good. Having booked a table in the restaurant the week before we specifically asked for a table in the conservatory, as we always do however when we arrived the restaurant was in darkness and the lady attending to us explained...

Hi Alison, The room you stayed in is extremely popular for Families as it is very large. We did apologise as the bathroom had had a leak in it and unfortunately in the height of the season we can not just shut a room down we were fully booked August & September. As for smelling of fat it was food being...

The rooms are a good size but are looking very tired. The rooms are in desperate need of a deep clean - I've seen cleaner student houses! The staff are very friendly and willing to help. All in all not worthy of the premium price tag!

Thanks for your review, A really busy season perhaps the staff were not at there best which is not an excuse and i can only apologise for that, glad the staff looked after you, the price reflects the cost of maintaining a 130 year old Victorian building and being in a beautiful village on the edge of a cliff regards...
