My partner and I stayed in room 255 for two nights (Friday & Saturday) at the beginning of October and have the following complaints: • The room carpets were disgusting with stains all over and generally grubby • There were coffee/tea splash stains on the wall and other stains on various other areas • Mould behind the main door •... Great meat ` 4 choices today - Pork, Turkey, Beef and Gammon. Cooked just right, vegeatables fresh, cooked to perfection not hard or soggy. Great staff and good ale. You feel there is nothing they wouldn't do to make you happy - careful with the afters = too many calories but you just have to eat them all

We booked a luxury refurbished room with 4 poster bed, The room was lovely, clean and we were quite pleased, unfortunately that night I thought the window had been left open as the noise from the chillers and the road was quite loud. On inspection we found the window was closed but due to the gaps around it, it may as... More

While the management always appear to be courteous and warm, as in the Greek tradition, it would appear, by certain accounts, that they do not treat the hard-working staff at all well (they keep all tips, pay a minimum wage, speak rudely and swear regularly, and have a bullying attitude). Consequently, they are always advertising for more staff. However, the... More

Friendly welcome, the hotel has good facilities for a short stay, good bar, restaurant, information and a pool table. A short walk downhill to the sea and a beautiful sandy beach to explore. Rooms were fine, clean and provided a good nights sleep. The local fish and chips taken in the restaurant was excellent value.

There's nothing really bad about this hotel, it is just that no-one is looking at the detail and therefore it has a 'couldn't care less' feel. I stayed for 1 night in one of the rooms in a modern block. Bathroom is too small, so you can get in the shower, but it is difficult to move in any direction... More

We booked this hotel as it claimed to be dog friendly and we wanted a break away with our 2 dogs. We had never been to this part of England before and were looking forward to our 2 night stay. The rooms on the first floor are really not that dog friendly, especially for older dogs struggling to get up... More
