Stayed at Tarrawarra Lodge on the last weekend of May 2016. Found the accomodation a delight. We had 7 guests staying at this lodge and were attending a wedding in the Yarra Valley, and the lodge proved to be an ideal spot to easily travel between venue and other winery estates. The rooms were very clean, cosy, comfortable and very well maintained. Being the wintery chilly season,we were at home in the comfort of a warm lodge and is very spacious.
The host, Eileen, was an absolute delight and ensured all amenities were provided, including a delightful continental breakfast in the morning. Eileen was very proactive in ensuring all accomodating needs were readily available and provided.
We highly recommend this lodge for anyone travelling to the Yarra Valley. Could not ask for a better stay.

We stayed just one night at Tarrawarra Lodge, having booked well in advance. We were attending a wedding nearby so needed a place to stay overnight. Eileen, who runs the Lodge, was so welcoming and helpful. We both drink soy milk, so she had some waiting for us in the fridge. We stayed in the self-contained unit at the back of the Lodge, which could easily accommodate four people. The kitchenette was fully equipped and had well-stocked pantry (nice biscuits, "real" coffee as well as instant, honey, spreads, etc.). Everything was clean and attractive (old-style and homely). A friend also stayed the night, sleeping in one of the upstairs rooms in the main house. We had a lovely continental-style breakfast together in the house. Eileen had the pot-belly stove on and the room was beautifully warm on a cold morning. All three of us had enjoyed a comfortable sleep (beds were very comfy) and were really happy with our experience. We would definitely go back and stay longer next time.
