Stayed here a few times on business. Good enough accommodation but far too much noise from the Avis rent a car cleaners during the day and noisy guests at night. Food is excellent though. The beds are very comfortable but dirty stained carpet.

Good morning, thank you very much for your feedback, we have addressed the noise issue with Avis rent a car, and we are also in the process of changing all carpets to tiles. Regards Management

As someone that often spends lots of time on the road, this was an excellent stay. Spacious room with a generous sized shower and air-conditioning. Very clean and neat and a pool for those hot days. Will definitely visit again!

We spent a night on our way back to Durban from Chintsa. The room was spotlessly clean, although a bit small. Our air conditioner didn't work but reception sent someone through to fix it after we complained. In the meantime, we opened the windows, but were almost eaten alive by mosquitoes. Good size bathroom, nice towels, and a lovely bath....

The room was of a good standard, but the guesthouse was very noisy in general, which made it hard to get a good night's rest. The supper was expensive, and although the food was not bad, it was not worth the money spent.

Excellent accommodation to stay in , Mount Currie inn was fully booked so we got booked into 44 on brownlee. Newly built rooms. Best accommodation in Kokstad that I have experienced to date. Aircon, Dstv, heated beds, microwave, fridge, shower and bath tub.

Cobwebs at front door. Broken amenities. No shower. Dirty carpet. Only thing worth the two stars is the bed....which I wouldn't let the pillow or sheets touch the dirty floor. Glad it was 1 night stay

Based on the positive reviews from previous Tripadvisor guests - I booked in at the Mount Currie while on business in Kokstad and was not disappointed at all. I also took into account the reviews on the noise levels if booked into rooms near the reception area and indicated to staff that I am a light sleeper and would not...

Lovely accommodation at Mount Currie Inn, the staff are friendly and very helpful. We were there for 4 nights and I couldn't have asked for a better place. It felt just like home as well. The facilities were great. We arrived late on the first evening and asked if we could use a microwave to warm our food and the...

This place is the safest choice lodging when in Kokstad. I have enjoyed my stay there and the treatment I receive from the front desk was excellent. The place could do great with more stringent management approach to visitor's cars moving in and out of the place.
