Unit 4A is beautiful with fantastic ocean view. Only a few steps to your private beach and the back bedrooms open to the pool. Kitchen is well equipped on site restaurant Kizmet is good. My favorite is the seafood taco combo. Location is far enough from the cruise ship crowd but close enough to walk. We usually grab a taxi when returning since I don’t want to climb the big hill. Fare is inexpensive. It’s a great place to stay

For our third trip to Roatan, my spouse and I decided to rent The Meridian and take our adult children and grand-children for a few weeks. The villa is just breathtaking. The views are spectacular. The pool and the grounds are meticulously kept. There is beauty in everything. The owners are marvelous, they make sure that you feel at home. They provide all of the information you will need to make your trip and experience a memorable one. Fro the moment you arrive you are greeted by wonderful concierge's. The bell men bring your luggage to your villa while the concierge escorts you to paradise. We made beautiful lasting memories. We will definitely be back. The Kismet restaurant by the beach is just amazing. Afan helped us with two events. The sunsets are spectacular and the food is to die for. This was the best vacation we have ever had. I miss this place every day. There is no real beach. It is very rocky but you can still access the water to go snorkeling. West Bay beach takes about 30 minutes to walk unless you are an athlete! The hills are very long, the heat doesn't permit you to go very fast. We walked it for the experience then took a cab. It cost about 2.00$ per person. Not worth the blood sweat and tears. If you want the most memorable, quiet, beautiful and amazing visit in Roatan. You have to rent this place.

I had the pleasure of staying at this location a few days in February. It was a very pleasant way to get out of the crowded and touristy beach on West Bay. The restaurant was only open in the evening but worth the wait.

I did consider staying here, but being a single widow decided it was a bit too remote for my needs. The grounds are beautiful, and I did enjoy snorkeling on the small beach. But it's very shallow and difficult to wend your way through the coral at low tide. The restaurant is located at the bottom of the hill, and there are quite a few stairs to reach it. The coconut shrimp was delicious. West Bay beach is a very short drive away or some say they can access it by walking "over the hill."

We loved our quiet, relaxing stay over looking the private beach at The Meridian. The view was beautiful, especially at sunset. Clean & spacious with everything we needed. We snorkeled in front of the resort (go in along the right hand side by the rocks), around over to in front of the Roatan Grand Resort. In front of the Roatan Grand, even close to shore were lots of fish. Go out with West Bay Divers for snorkeling in the Blue Channel & Spooky Channel. Loved our week at the Meridian.
