Location - literally 30m to slopes and first few lifts. Food - breakfast awful, lunch and dinner ok. Feel as though the food is rushed. Staff - all staff work hard to keep the place running. This is a British run hotel, all the staff are in early 20s who are working the season to board or ski not to...

I've stayed here twice now. The hotel is in a perfect location, it's literally across the road from the ski lifts so it couldn't be in a better position. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and very helpful if your needing advice or anything arranged. The hotel had a dry room in the basement and a bar directly above...

The hotel is the best location for the ski lifts which are opposite the hotel.THe staff are absolutely brilliant, I had a little altitude sickness and they cudnt be more attentive. The rooms are very basic but that is all you need , so please take a deck of cards or something to do in the evening unless you wish...

Very basic hotel with dirty rooms and awful food. Our room had hair in the bath tub which didn't belong to anyone in the room, and there was dust everywhere, looked like the room hadn't be cleaned in years. Food was edible, breakfast was fine, lunch was bearable however dinner was horrid, every single day. Location is great, right next...

We weren't staying here but stopped off for lunch. It was like being back in a student union. Lovely sun terrace and good beer, but woeful food. Ordered a Croque Monsieur which was actually just a ham and cheese roll. Sent that back and asked for a hot dog, which was a hot dog from a tin. Sent that back....

On arrival we were given a key to our room and my sisters room was a keycode, however when the housekeeping was done the rooms were often left open, not just unlocked but the doors were open, there has to be a certain amount of trust but not an open invitation to anyone to enter rooms. On to the food,...

Just back from a great week's skiing. Absolute bargain holiday, especially for over the New Year. Fantastic location opposite slopes & lifts. Great, helpful staff, really made the whole week an enjoyable experience. Rooms were more than adequate for the price, as was the food. If you want a 4/5* experience, then go somewhere else & pay for it! Still no...

We have just returned from a weeks skiing over the New Year. Having read comments from last year it is very obvious that there has been a deterioration in general standards since then. The food, particularly at the beginning of the week, was dreadful but we were lead to believe that the chef had "left" and things did improve a...

The location of the hotel was amazing (just in front of the piste). The room we were given was facing the piste with a big balcony. The food was amazing with different dinner times for adults, which was very thoughtful. The staff was very helpful and super friendly.

Staff are super friendly and could answer any questions asked, very friendly! great access to lifts, literally just across the road... great ski in ski out! Let down by the standard of rooms, very basic and typical 'school trip' style.
