Three nights spent at this hotel were very comfortable. Rooms are stylish, well appointed and furnished. Unfortunately the satellite TV did not pick up any English language stations, and the Wi-Fi did work anywhere except the breakfast room. Breakfast was ample and very tasty. The restaurant was excellent with very attentive and helpful service. Portion sizes were quite large.

The Ca L'Arpa is a very attractive, comfortably furnished and physically comfortable inn. Bathrooms are modern and very well appointed, with wonderful thick towels and very nice amenities. Beds are comfortable with good quality linens. Wifi did not work in my first floor room; I had to access it in the lobby near reception. We reserved a table for dinner...

The best first. Good location, nice rooms and a dignified chef - you would not guess his Michelin Star. BUT: maybe it was off season, maybe we booked last minute, maybe they did not like us. Whatever it was we felt displaced from the Moment we entered the door. As written in an earlier review 'someone looked after the reception',...

Having spent a few days in Barcelona, we were looking for a base from which to tour the area around Girona and Figueres. Banyoles appeared to fit the bill and Ca L'Arpa looked the best bet on paper for a place to stay for four nights. We turned up early evening hot and tired after a couple of hours on...

I don't want to wast your time writing fancy schmancy. Staying here was an incredible experience all over. Although it may not be the place you'd imagine bringing along the kids, this worked really well, too. If they get bored in the restaurant, they can just pop upstairs. Pere is a great chef, imaginative and sound. The familty supports him...

Have just returned from a quick stopover at this Hotel on our way to Perpignan. Lovely room, great food and wine list, all reasonable priced. My wife sadly slipped and twisted her ankle whilst we were there but the owners came to our rescue visiting the local Chemist with me to buy goods and they were so caring. We would...

We had a short trip in the North Eastern Region of Spain last week and booked the Hotel Ca L'Arpa. In one word it was "excellent". A friendly reception, Frre parking in the nearby streets, Free Wifi and above all a Nice clean modern room and a breakfast which matched the dinner in quality in this one Michelin starred restaurant....

This little boutique hotel right in the heart of Banyoles is unlike any hotel that we've ever stayed in before. The architecture and decor is what you would expect from a contemporary chic catalan hotel in Barcelona, but with small touches of personality that hint at something more. That "something" is the fact that this hotel and restaurant are operated...
