We loved staying at this property in Manitoulin! It was our first time on the island and Charlene and Gord gave us great tips on what to explore and where to eat. Having stayed during COVID times - we felt very safe staying at this property because the hosts are only accepting one guest at a time. The room and the bathroom was spotless and very cozy! We stayed in the Music Room and the direct access to the backyard was a pleasant surprise. The backyard and the view to the lake is just gorgeous. The breakfast was always served on time and very delicious. We would definitely stay at this property again as it is close to many of the point of interest. We also loved chatting with Charlene and Gord every morning and learning more about the island.

Charlene & Gord made us feel very welcome at Willow Shores and we quickly felt like we were a part of the family. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in the Music room, which is huge, with an ensuite bathroom with jetted tub and a small deck to sit on overlooking the yard and water. We had use of the entire house where we could sit and chat with them and other guests, watch TV or there was a quiet room where we could sit to read, enjoy the view and use the telescope and binoculars. There were paddle boards, kayaks and a canoe but we didn't have time to use them. Down by the waters edge there are muskoka chairs and swinging chairs hanging from a willow tree. Very quiet and peaceful. Charlene feeds you too much at breakfast so you don't leave hungry. There are muffins or scones available during the day for a snack there or take one with you. In some B & B's you get the feeling that you are intruding on the people who live there but this was definitely not the case here. We felt very comfortable and Charlene & Gord are the reason why. Would definitely return here and stay longer next time.

My wife and I enjoyed Willow Shores B&B on Canada Day weekend 2019. We were very welcomed from the start of our stay. Charlene and Gord are charming and friendly. They gave us access to everything on the property. For our 4 nights there, we felt part of the family. Charlene is very hospitable; however we also had a lot of privacy. Charlene is very knowledgeable about Manitoulin Island. She was more than happy to provide us info about interest points (they are a lot). The location is just brilliant for getting away from the hassle. The house is like a museum; however it is comfortable and welcoming as well. Our room - Music Room - is very comfortable, large and very nicely decorated. The private patio overlooking the shore is perfect for having a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of red wine at sunset. There is kitchen access for hot drinks and a fridge with chilled bottled water and juice. The property is quite large with a wide open waterfront. There are plenty of chairs to relax, a fire pit, a hammock, canoes and kayaks. The breakfasts were very tasty with a varied selection of Charlene's home cooking. We are recommending Willow Shores to anybody who wants to recharge his battery and spend some real good time in the picturesque Manitoulin Island. We will be back for sure. The hosts are very gracious and have room for 16. Rooms were built for B&B. Very nicely done. Roomy and nicely decorated. Very clean. Located on the water. Large dining table. A perfect place for a night or a few days. Relaxing and comfortable. 200 yards to the water. Large property. Take your shoes off once inside to help keep it so clean. Just lovely. Wife and I really liked this one.
