I have been to the Canadian Ecology Centre numerous times. As a teacher, I have had the opportunity to bring my classes to this fabulous centre. Years later, students have returned to visit and commented that this was their most memorable high school trip. The great cabins, extremely knowledgeable staff, meaningful programs and delicious meals make this an extremely positive...

Such a great weekend! Highlighted by the excellent staff! Our cabins were warm, and clean. We enjoyed being such a sort walk to the river. We will 100% be coming back, and with a larger group next time!

We stayed at the Canadian Ecology Centre Cabins at Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park for 3 nights while participating in Alpine Slalom Races at Antoine Mountain over the Easter Weekend. Our stay and experience at the cabins was exemplary and we would recommend these accommodations to anyone. Close to the Mountain, all the comforts of home, very clean and a...

My son was in a ski race at Antoine Moutain so the ski team booked cabins for the weekend. The cabins were large enough for our family of 5. They were clean and had everything we needed. We had access to the kitchen cabin so we could cook our own meals. The staff that we dealt with were very accommodating...

We were in Mattawa for a three day long ski race. These are fabulous accomodations to stay in as a group. The cabins are clean and well kept. There were fresh linens in every cabin and a dining cabin was available for use by the whole group. We will definitely be coming back and bringing others with us. There are...

My youngest daughter attended the camp to get he Grade11 biology credit. It's far from Toronto, 450 kilometers, but only 50 kilometers from North Bay. The cabins are much nicer then when I attended camp in the 1960's. They have a mini fridge, toilet and shower, maximum of 4 campers. But it had NO SHELVES!! That's very weird.

This place is amazing! The cabins feel like you're in a hotel with a rustic feel. Definitely not the cabins you'd picture from camp in your childhood. Had we not already booked a venue, our wedding would have been here. We went out for a snowshoe with Back Roads Bill (who is very entertaining and told us about the history...

This was our first family trip and we decided to attend Christmas In The Forest! It was amazing! Relaxing when you wanted it to be and full of activities when you wanted to participate! We had sing along camp fires, explored different species of trees and interaction with reptiles and other animals! Our 3 year old loved it! The cabin...

This is our 3rd year at this event and it never fails to impress. Enoguh changes each year that the kids beg to go every year. The cabins sleep 5 comfortably, are warm, clean and come with a fridge making breakfast a breeze. The events are well planned so you never feel rushed or crowded. And Santa is the best...
