Our Caravan Park is located on the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia and is just 75 kms south of Adelaide. It is a leisurely 10 minute walk to the centre of town which has many cafes, a hotel and great shopping. The park offers the traveller a variety of accommodation from 1 & 2 bedroom cabins, powered ensuite sites, grassed powered and unpowered sites and budget bunkhouse accommodation. There is a large open plan kitchen with open fireplace, a games room and playground. The Park is situated right next to the Foreshore, Jetty, Cafe & Surf club. It is surrounded by sandhills, beautiful Norfolk Island Pine Trees and has picturesque hillside views over the Bungala river.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely van Park right beside the beach and close to town. Lovely amenities, camp kitchen and grounds. Would definitely recommend. Lady Bay golf club just down the road a bonus. Tennis court next door and the surrounding towns are quite interesting.

We stayed in the Executive Beach comber cabin facing the river and the beach. The cabin was relatively new, spacious and well positioned for a lovely quiet getaway with views. The park was next to the Surf Life Saving club that had a restaurant and a great ice creamery shop along with takeaways.

it is absolutely a relax, beautiful and fun place to spend with family. we hire an unpower camp site and it is basically provide all we needs (ie water, clean toilets, shared kitchen). will definitely come again with family and friends and thinking shall try power site too (even though I dont have a caravan).

The park is nice and clean and within walking distance to the Surf Club that has excellent meals upstairs. Beautiful Cabin but the listing is very deceiving, Jetty View is not the view you will get but the name of the cabin, in fact, you don't get a view unless you stand up as the fence blocks any view - a bit like looking at your back fence. To top this off, the local council goes to bed at the end of the day and won't come out and enforce their bylaws against camping in the carpark referring you to call the Police instead, so my view was interrupted by someone with their Mercedes Sprinter parking out the front of our cabin both days - he got a free view and we got to see his van.

Have stayed here many times in our caravan and have never been disappointed….we’re already booked in for February next year with our caravanning group. Everything is well maintained. One recommendation for fellow travellers is, if you want to be sheltered from the wind book a site on the South side. Normanville is a beautiful place to visit and the coast line is stunning!! Oh! And don’t forget to visit the new Surf Life Saving Club & Aqua Blue Restaurant above the Kiosk 👍

Beautiful views all around. Large range of cabins, powered & unpowered sites for caravans. Same for camping. Clean park, friendly staff. Walk into main st of Normanville. Camp kitchen is modern and adequately stocked. Really enjoyed my stay.

If you’re after a relaxing few days away, the new beachcomber cabins (for singles or couples) alongside the river are excellent. It’s a nice outlook from the balcony in a quiet spot. If you’re camping, the camp kitchen with lounge area is nice and has outdoor tables which are nice to sit and eat at. It’s also very convenient staying in a beachfront park.

This is a great park, adjacent the beach and jetty. With a new surf lifesaving club nearing completion and a pub, restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance, visitors are spoilt for choice. Excellent camp kitchen!

The rooms were absolutely spotless. The space was a little dated ( stayed in the older cabins) but was comfortable and everything was provided for a comfortable stay. A beautiful spot with lots of lovely little places to visit within walking distance or a short drive. Would be more than happy to stay again

Stayed in 2 Bed Executive Cabin. Great room facilities, although no broom or dustpan/brush. Great sea view. Wonderful full size bathroom and huge bath. Comfy beds. Big drawback was the location of the cabin. It’s next the public car park. So you are paying extra for an Executive cabin with a bath and are at the mercy of noise from the car park. Drivers can see into your bedroom if the blind is up! If you want a bath & Privacy get cabin 26.
