The menu was in German but the waitress patiently explained all the menu items to us. She suggested their secret recipe which was stuffed pork with ham and some mushrooms with...

The hotel is excellent, the hospitality is second to none and you can expect to sample Austria in its true form. Most guests return again and again which speaks volumes.

Many people from the UK have been coming to the Steixner for over 30 years. Some first came with their parents. This warm and cosy Gasthof is run by a family who make you feel one of the family. Beware if you stay at the Steixner you will return at every opportunity to sample their hospitality. Get in the main...
