We had a lovely stay at this hotel in the cottage as we were a family of 5. The cottage had bags of character and space although the wooden floorboards meant the children would wake up early to us walking about upstairs. The food was delicious and the staff very helpful. The only small downside was the bathrooms could do...

Nothing to complain about, clean bedrooms, spacious with a beautiful view (we had room 2 and 7). Free Wi-Fi available in the rooms which is very convenient! Very friendly staff always there to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as it should be. The hotel isn't far from the main beach. It is lovely, I strongly recommend it. Enjoy!

We are locals to Langebaan and have enjoyed many good times at the hotel including our engagement party. Sadly today, during peak holiday season, we had the worst service experienced anywhere. We waited almost 2 hours for breakfast. Seven tables were full of dirty plates, with birds eating off the tables. 2 waiters for a packed restaurant in peak season??...

Dear Shielagh H, It honestly pains me to here you had a bad experience with us at the hotel. We always stive to ensure our clients are well serviced, taken care off, and pampered. This was clearly not the case, I would like to invite you and yours back to the hotel to show you what real service entails. Over...

We stayed in the Frank Whiteman cottage that is attached to this hotel. A really lovely, old fashioned place with great views. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is near the West Coast Naitonal Park where birds abound.

Imagine an enormous Catalina flying boat landing at the lagoon at Langebaan. They used to track German submarines during World War II but now the lagoon and the Farmhouse are a convenient spot on the journey from Cape Town to Namibia. Sheltered from the northerly and westerly winds off the South Atlantic, Langebaan originally a haven for yachtsmen, has become...

Quaint is the word. Has facinating old farm items all over the main public areas, plenty of nice nooks and crannies to feel special, two awesome fire places. Staff is great, very friendly. Rooms are fine, old-world charming, nothing fancy just plain utility, although filled with quirky old furniture (all excellently maintained). Resaturant is ok, but breakfast is tolerable at...

Stayed at THe Farmhouse whilst on a quick business trip. Room was very comfortable with clean linen and a choice of very comfortable pillows. Great view of the lagoon. Room was quiet and away from the busy kitchen and bar area. The restaurant dinner was average, no great shakes. Good ambiance with a fire burning in the dinning room area....

Have been coming here for a number of years and never tire of sitting outside having tea overlooking the lagoon. The staff have changed considerably over the last few years but the stalwarts Andy and Mohammed are still there and make me very welcome. They have changed the menu in the restaurant (at last, as it had been the same...

After four days in Cape Town we travelled North by way of the M7 through rolling countryside passing through Citrusdal famous for its oranges towards Clan William following the Olifant river.
