This property is in a great location with easy access to a small beach and the city. Rooms are very basic but clean and tidy. The bathroom is quite modern. There is no air conditioning but you are supplied with a fan and heater in the room.

Lodgings in Neutral Bay with a quick walk to the ferry and across to circular quay.
The location is great but the accommodation is tired, and with abit of money spent, they could certainly charge more for the rooms. We had a 3 person room, and whose small, beds were comfy and included a small bar fridge in room. Visited communal kitchen which is on the very bottom floor below the ground, and it’s basic with no extra fridge room and no where at all to store anything frozen. We bought paper plates and cutlery so I’d highly recommend that!!
Bathroom was communal for our room and luckily it was close, and I must say these have been recently renovated and are quite lovely, however only 3 showers and 3 toilets to service all the rooms isn’t really enough if the motel was booked out (some rooms have en-suite facilities).
Overall, great location but this place could be so much more if they just put some money in and did some basic painting, replacing worn carpets etc.

Great place to stay. Very convenient to get to downtown Sydney. Ferry ride past the opera house and the harbor bridge is never bad. Great coffee shop by the ferry. The room we had was comfortable and clean. They even have a washer and dryer so you can go home with clean clothes

I think this is the worst accommodation I have ever been in and I would recommend anyone looking into it to save yourselves the awful experience and go stay somewhere else.

Garbage is never removed from the rooms unless you beg the staff to do it several times, however the main issue is finding the staff in the first instance as there's never anyone in the front desk, nor on the phones they provide for urgent calls.

The absolute worst was finding cockroaches lurking into my suitcase in the middle of the night. At this point I call my relatives to be immediately picked up form the place with no intent on spending another second there.

When I reported the issue on the next morning, the staff where impossible to track firstly, and secondly they were unapologetic. I asked for my money back for the remainder of the stay and this was refused. I also asked to speak to the owner or to have a direct contact to call and complain, but this was also refused. They were not even sorry and showed absolutely no care about the situation or to myself. All they cared was too keep my money which they did.

Location is fantastic and staff superb. BUT please you can’t have these really old carpets! They smell terrible! It’s a great pity because all the rest is very good but the moment you go into your room.... it stinks. You need a floor that can be easily cleaned. No old dirty carpets! Invest in clean rooms. It would make a real difference.
Thanks to a lovely staff and to a GREAT location. Fridge and all the rest but I just can’t breathe.

The only thing going for it is price and location in that it’s cheap and there is almost no accommodation in Neutral Bay. A charming looking house that is one up from a back packers hostel with all the warmth and charm of a 1950s flop house. Cheap and clean! But make sure you get a room with an en-suite or one close to the showers and toilet...otherwise, it is a cold hike to the toilet. There is only room for 6 cars so when I put it on my request as we were driving from interstate. When I got there, the receptionist retorted “ it’s first come first serve, you should know that from the email”. I didn’t. The surrounding streets are two hour or residential . We were lucky but afraid to take the car out to meet our appointments so we walked and bussed everywhere. Definitely not the place for romance. It looks lovely from the outside.

This accommodation suited me well. I was in Sydney briefly and it was very conveniently located and well priced. I had no trouble getting one of the available parking spots, but there did seem to be other spots int he streets available too. The staff very much leave you to yourself, which again suited me. It was good to have access to the kitchen, and there were also some cafes and restaurants literally a few paces away. The proximity to the harbour and ferry is also great. Rooms are very basic and not smart in any way, but functional. It is what it is - a room in a great location from which to access the city or for a few nights' stay. I would stay there again.

Stayed in the king ensuite and was great! There was noise from the street but it was barely noticeable. Bed was comfortable and had some great sleep. There was a pedestal fan which did the trick as luckily it wasn’t too warm when we were there. Very close to the Neutral Bay Wharf which made trips to the CBD very easy. Nice hidden beach by the wharf as well as a little cafe. Excellent area for a small holiday!

I used Trip Advisor and Booking.com to find this great spot for one for a quick sleepover in the City.
It was an amazing bargain price and very clean. The bathroom was next to my room and was modern and functional.
I was really pleased with this accommodation and it only took about 3 minutes to walk to the ferry which is awesome.
I highly recommend this place and I will return. Thank you.
