This old Guest House had us charmed from the get-go with it's magical old-world Bavarian style and atmosphere. We traveled mid-week with our 1 year-old son and barely even knew that other people were staying there. Our room was tucked into the third story of this adorable old Guest House. It was clean, spacious, and came equipped with a crib...

I just love everything about this hotel. The friendly, helpful, chatty owner and his wonderful lady wife who cooked. Our room was full of fantastic ceiling beams. The bed was heavenly in its its comfort. Great breakfast and evening meal. A place to relax for a night when you're doing the Franconian Camino. The owner is used to groups of...

We arrived at the hotel to find it closed, however there was a number to ring which we did and were welcomed within minutes. The owners were very welcoming, trying their best to communicate with us in English. Our room was quite large and comfortable. The bathroom had been recently renovated with a shower which was rated quite highly by...

I guess the only reason why I am not giving it an 'excellent', is because of the noisy wooden structure, that may bother some guests, or even bother you, who may be constantly tiptoeing in order to avoid bothering other guests. The hotel is lovely. Very clean, spacious, rustic, with a lovely breakfast. There is black panther stuffed toy at...

We stayed one night on our way through to Munich. Our hosts were very helpful and lovely. We stayed in a large room with a modern bathroom. We did not have dinner here but sat in the bar for some local beers. Breakfast was delicious! We felt like we had a real German experience. We would stay here again.

We were greeted by a friendly elderly couple. The husband can speak English. We were shown to our room which was detached from the hotel itself. Free parking right outside. The room had an entrance lounge. The room was large and spacious. No mini bar and fridge, nor safety deposit box. It was equipped with a desk, TV and cupboards....

We stayed for two nights at the Schwarzes Ross, on our way to see Rottenburg Obe to Tauber. The hotel was close to all we wanted to see in the area. The room was spacious and on the top floor ( no elevator). We were well t rested and would stay there again.
