Stopped here because it was the first place that looked reasonable as I drove into town. Not bad, a little old fashioned (but who wants designer chic anyway?) but clean, warm and quite a good breakfast. Free parking in the courtyard at the back and free Wi-Fi too! No restaurant but there are plenty not far away. Nice town Added...

My wife and I stayed one night whilst travelling back to England from southern Spain. The hotel is old style but very comfortable, clean and spacious. It is ideally situated only a two minute walk from the beach which is clean and really beautiful. Breakfast was typical continental and plenty of it. would definitely stay again if in the area.

We stayed recently for 1 night. The hotel is situated two blocks from the beach, which is one of the largest surfing beaches in the Basque country. The rooms are traditional in style, comfortable and have clean beds. We chose the half board deal, having an evening meal which cost 13.50 euros including wine. The food was adequate without being...

My two daughters and I stayed in Hotel Zarauz for a night, while we were walking the Camino del Norte. It was a perfect place to stay - clean, friendly, the rooms were comfortable, it was very convenient for accessing the beach, wifi worked well etc. All in all a very satisfactory stay.

Good value. Well located. Receptionist was very rude and refused to help me speak to a taxi driver. Rooms were spacious clean and reasonably well appointed. Breakfast was quite chaotic and the buffet was messy. Felt like a dining hall. They found my daughters iPad and we returned 2 days later to collect it. Very grateful for that so thanks....

The hotel had a bar.It was never open. You had to order your drinks through the receptionist who brought them over. The receptionist was not happy about this--"Can't you drink somewhere else?" he asked. The bar shut at eleven----not eleven and 1 second but eleven on the dot.The average age of the "drinking party" was 70!

We were on a tour of the Basque Country. This hotel was our base. Staff were polite, pleasant and helpful. Room reasonably comfortable. Noise from outside OK unless window open. Guest in room above galumphed about a lot. Shower OK. Restaurant not bad. We had breakfast every day, nothing exciting, and two evening meals, one indifferent, the other good.

Some rooms have outside views and other rooms look into the interior courtyard. If you open the windows that open to the outside then the traffic noise is bad. If you have an interior room then there are cooking smells and not enough flowing air. The room was uncomfortably warm in early May so must be very bad in high...

The hotel is well placed very near the seafront and the historic town center . The rooms were comfortable, a bit outdated but clean. I have a good night sleep. I try food there and it was nice. The staff are helpful, nice lady serving at the restaurant. Overall i have a nice stayed, good value for money but they...

My wife and I stayed here for a week on a bed and breakfast basis. Although our room overlooked a busy road the double glazing kept the noise out - providing that the window was kept closed of course - but then we did not get enough ventilation. Noise from other guests was not reduced by any kind of soundproofing....
