We stayed 2 nights and would have had a third night had it not been for the fact that it was full. Jessica and Michael are excellent hosts and were happy to chat and provide information when needed. The provision of homemade jam, a generous selection of fresh fruit and artisanal bread was indeed much appreciated. A walkabout the farm and vineyard is recommended and we were quite tickled to see Pedro, the alpaca coexisting with a herd of nonchalant sheep! Thank you, Jessica and Michael for a memorable stay.

I had an amazing time at Jessica and Michael's place ! They are truly kind and lovely hosts. The house is very cute and the private backyard even cuter ! It's very quiet so it's a perfect place to relax and rest. The room is also very comfortable.
They have horses, chickens, sheep, a very friendly dog and even an alpaga ! The wineyard is beautiful and the wine they make out of it is delicious. I definitely recommand this place !

The hosts were lovely and the space is really comfortable. It was hot the day we arrived, but the blinds kept the room cool and later, when the evening breeze cooled things down, the area looking over the garden was gorgeous. It was a very comfortable stay. The breakfast room was well appointed. The family dog came around to greet us, as did the chickens. We were also offered a late check out as we stayed late in Swanpool going to the 1950s cinema (a really good experience). Overall a really lovely place to get away from things.

Jessica and Michael could not have made us feel more welcome at Swanpool Creek B&B! We booked at short notice, arrived super late at night, brought dogs and a toddler and requested late check out... none of which caused a blip on the radar at all. They were so very accommodating and kind to us. Nothing felt like too much trouble.

Parking is in an undercover, well-lit car port which has a roof tall enough to accommodate our 4WD with roof box. A bowl of fresh water was left waiting for our dogs plus dog treats inside in the little kitchenette. So thoughtful!

We booked both bedrooms, both of which were supremely comfortable. Everything about this B&B reflects how much effort the hosts have put into making it a great place to stay. We felt so very at home and appreciated all the small touches, from the decorations to the furnishings, the brochures for local attractions, the lovely toiletries and the ample towels left in the bathroom. It was the best place to drop our things and just flop into bed!

Breakfast was a feast! Cereal, fresh bread, homemade jams, yoghurt, plunger coffee and tea, plus a big bowl of fruit that kept our toddler happy. There was even soy milk in the fridge without me having to request it. We ate outdoors in the garden and soaked up the sunshine, before having a walk around the gardens and meeting one of their sweet lambs. Bliss!

Above all else, this property is spotlessly clean. Despite being attached to the main residence, it’s completely private, and when you meet the hosts you will want to hang out with them anyway! It felt like a home away from home and we’d love to stay again. Highly recommended for a quick stopover on a long trip, or for a few days peace and relaxation.

Sumptuously appointed and generously provisioned. Very welcoming hosts even providing dog bowls with dog beds available. Delightful garden to wander in. Tucked away in a very quiet location only 20 minutes from Benalla. Could not fault.

Driving from NSW to Melbourne and needing a bed for the night, I contacted Jessica approx 5pm and got an immediate positive response. Arrived about 7pm after dinner at a local Tavern, which Jessica suggested and booked for us. Swanpool Creek B & B is a little bit off the main drag, but still easy to continue on to Melbourne via Mansfield, much nicer than the Hume Hwy. Our space consisted of a nice size bedroom with ensuite and a breakfast room. We were provided with plenty of provisions for breakfast the next morning, including fresh plunger coffee, fruit, yoghurt, several choices of cereal and a freshly baked loaf of bread and home made jams. Tariff was very reasonable. There is a nice private backyard with peaceful gardens and vineyard which was very enjoyable for a sunset walk. This is a nice relaxing stopover for a couple, probably wouldn't be suitable with children
