Just returned from a week at Bongani. We had an absolutely amazing time. They were extremely organised and liaised with our travel agent / safari tour company perfectly. All staff were extremely friendly and made it a wonderful place to stay. A special mention to Aaron (our ranger), Pascal managing the front desk and a waiter who's nickname was Scar...

Having never been to Africa before we could not imagine how thinks work there. From the first moment we felt welcomed and must underline the proficiency of the staff, the cleanness of the accomaodation, the quality of the meals and the experience of the rangers who showed us their home country. Thanks again. PS: If you book your trip there...

Was very pleased by the surrondings and I felt indeed like in the middle of the bush. I did enjoy very much both the accomodation and game drives with very experienced and best ranger - a short lady (forgot her name) specialised in snakes and crocodiles ;-) regards to her

Very dissapointed . Normally visit similar priced resorts . Very little game to view. Food is below average. Service is below average . Seems as if service staff are not trained .Staff make a huge noise which impacts on day rest time . Definitely not of a 4 star standard .wont recommend this resort especially if you want to view...

A must see if you are in the area. The game drive, the accommodation, the views, location and total experience is not to be missed. The jeep drive up to the lodge is rather scary but part of the atmosphere. The game drive in the late afternoon/early evening is great especially if sundowners are included.

Me and my friend wanted to explore Kruger National Park and accidentally,we were booked into this hotel. But, the experience was great, adventurous and fantastic. The hospitality was beyond the expectation. My friend who was a strict vegetarian and only one among the lot was given special food every time. The courtesy of the staff was amazing. The game drives...

Beautiful secluded hotel on the mountains with excellent hospitality. The food served was of excellent quality, rooms comfortable and well decorated. This place is heaven on earth. It is reccomended for all: families with children, couples, solo travellers, even an 80 something year old lady was here celebrating her birthday! I got to see lots of animals on my drives....

Bongani is a nice lodge, nice rooms, friendly staff but big minus is the lack of wild life. We have hardly seen animals during the game drives. Also a couple of animals that we did see were injured on the legs. If the owners want to compete with other lodges for safari, they really have to add some animals and...

Dear BelgiumFlyer Thank you for staying at Bongani Mountain Lodge and for taking the time to review your stay. Unfortunately it is difficult for any Safari Lodge to guarantee wildlife sightings, but on the whole as most reviews would confirm we have really good sightings. Dictation Bongani Mountain Lodge offers an authentic African experience.  The food is substantial and of decent quality. The staff are highly professional and courteous. In particular, our safari guide Simon was exceptional in every way. He went Beyond expectations to make sure we were able to see each of the animals that we wished to see. In addition, Simon was...

It's been one of the most beautiful places and experiences I've ever made. In the middle of nowhere lies this amazing lodge and every day was a new exciting adventure. The rangers were so polite and gave us an insight into nature like never before.
