Vienna, Austria

We are regular customers here. The hotel is ideally placed for a stop-over between Vienna (our city) and Southern France. Our recent experience was disappointing. By -8°C temperatures our booked room was not pre-heated. The restaurant food was lukewarm and greasy. The breakfast buffet, however, remains a strong point.

This is a decent nice typical Austrian hotel-restaurant directly close to the highway So if you need a stop-over overnight you might like to stay there. I only had lunch there and everything was delicious and fine. Prices are well ok and typical Tyrolean food is available. I'd go there again.

Just drive to another hotel or place to sleep. The room smells and we had no view at all. The people were not nice and the hotel could use a make over. I expected a lot more but i am dissapointed. I wont come anymore.

We have been coming here for about 20 years. Nice place for a stop on our way to Southern France from Vienna. Majestic views, clean rooms, gargantuan breakfast. Sulky waiting staff, heated-up food in the restaurant but fair prices. Very convenient for a stopover.

The Wipptalerhof is near the Austrian side of the Brenner border. The hotel is large and clean. The rooms are a bit out of fashion, but nice. The breakfast is really good, in the evening the restaurant is value for money. You might meet bus-tourists, but they stay very often in seperate parts of the restaurant. Be sure to take...

This is a very nice hotel with a splendid wiew to the mountains. We where on the way to Italy and needed a place to crash for one night. The food is very good and the rooms are okay and we had a good night sleep.

Thank Sindt
