I stayed at the Black Rock Lodge with a couple of girlfriends for a reunion trip at the end of October. The Lodge arranged for our transfer from the Belize City airport and we loved our driver Fernando and the rest of the staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The lodge itself is beautiful and gives you good access... More

We arrived to Black Rock Lodge around 9:00 PM and were greeted in the parking lot immediately by multiple members of the staff. They were extremely friendly and took all of our bags to our room. After a long day of traveling, they briefed us very quickly and we were then able to get some much needed rest. The next... More

This review is so long overdue. I can't speak highly enough of Black Rock lodge. People love going to San Pedro but this place is SO much better. Adventures every day, beautiful cabins, and the friendliest staff you can find. They work with you to figure out what you want to do every day and give you guides for all... More

We stayed at the BLR for 3 days during our honeymoon. It was quite a beautiful place! Stunning, actually. The lodge consists of many private cabins throughout the most gorgeous valley in the hills of Belize. You are sitting on a rushing river, surrounded by trees and wildlife. This is THE PLACE if you love the outdoors, nature and camping.... More

Black Rock Lodge is a jewel in the Jungles of Belize. Yes their were some negative things I could say but I won't because this is a place that will be better tomorrow then it was today. The owners and the staff are incredible and the surroundings are breathtaking. If at all possible upgrade your self to one of the... More

We were there for 4 nights. Really special place into the Belizean jungle. From there you can do many activities, plenty of adventure! Hiking, cave tubing, horse riding & much more... Food and service is wonderful. It's a place to remember...

We arrived at Black Rock in August just 3 days after Hurricane Earl ripped through Belize. Fortunately, there was little to no damage to the lodge, but I was so impressed with how quickly the staff was able to clear all the fallen trees and branches from the property and more importantly the road that takes you there. We had... More

Simply put, stay here. Our family of 5 stayed at BLR a few weeks ago. We spent a week nestled in the jungle on the Mecal River and felt completely at home. The staff at Black Rock became an extended family and when we left, we all felt so sad. The magic of Black Rock is something we will never... More

I traveled here with my girlfriend on a romantic and fun trip. In our mid-twenties, Black Rock Lodge offered the ideal mix of adventure and quiet time. We enjoyed our private cabin, lovely hammocks and wildlife, and the exquisite 4-course meals we were able to share with the other people staying at the lodge. We adored the family-style sit-downs with... More
