Oh wow this place is terrific don't listen to the one or two whingers, they are just that. We had to check in past 4.30pm and it was no trouble for Ken to welcome us to the retreat at 6pm. Not only is the room huge with an inroom spa the surroundings are gorgeous amongst the trees. You will also...

We always enjoy the yummy food at Smoky Cape Cafe. Mary and her staff always make sure we are well looked after. Our elderly nan gets special attention, with the staff making sure she is comfortable and has food which she is easily able to eat. We have also had a well catered birthday party there and enjoyed the Spaghetti...

My wife and I were driving from Sydney to Brisbane and planned on staying tow nights along the way. We were planning on 3 driving days of about 300 to 350 klms. Booked into Smoky Cape Retreat and changed our plans and stayed 2 nights there. Wish we could have stayed much longer. Great food in the restaurant, great service...

What a wonderful treat to stay here. The owners were very welcoming and we loved that it was dog friendly and relaxing! The rooms have big spas and extremely comfy beds. The Restaurant food was to die for and the service was attentive and friendly. Loved the atmosphere. We felt very welcomed and will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Had a scrumptious morning tea at the Retreat yesterday morning having arrived from Canberra. It' s such a relaxing place to be with an old style cottage garden, lots of native trees & shrubs mixed with "exotics". Friends who have been guests here enjoyed their stay in this "Country B&B" setting. We had the choices of eating in the dining...

We stayed here in Feb 2017. The room was clean and spacious enough, opening onto a front and back sitting area. It wasnt really a retreat as such, more a motel. Large size bathroom well stocked with bathroom necessities, but with a broken towel rack and a nice sized spa. Gardens were in complete disarray. Having said that the Mary...

Our establishment is deffinetly nothing like a motel and yes we are a Bush Retreat set on 3 acres offering 4 private spa suites with breakfast included each morning in our café. As for the broken towel rack it was fixed immediately and Kerry these things do happen everywhere. We pride ourselves on our gardens and back in February was...

Stayed here recently for 3 nights. Owner, Mary made us feel like family. So personable and genuine. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Great location to use as a base in South West Rocks. B&B doesn't really describe the room, although a bit dated, which was really a large suite with big bathroom containing...

Run by Ken and Mary with the personal touch. Great fresh food. Lovely location with fantastic walks, views and beaches nearby. They will advise on best outings. Best snorkeling at Korogoro Creek, Hat Head.

I did visit at peak period. I found this was definately not a 4 plus star rating. The place and rooms were very tired and run down. On one day the water in the taps was very dark brown and when reported to the proprietors they said it was due to the tanks being changed over. They were obliging enough....

This review is written by the couple who threw talcum powder all over the carpet and had the curtain rods hanging off the wall. They stayed for seven days and never once did they mention anything was wrong. They seemed pleasant enough at the time so it was a shock when the cleaner came to tell me after they checked...

We spent a night in Smoky Cape Retreat and we loved every single minute of our stay. The stuff were super lovely and friendly, they made us feel very welcomed. Our room was just amazing. We highly recommend this place! The booking went super smoothly, we gave the hosts a call and in 10 minutes we were already in our...
