Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

This park is truly a Gem. Plenty of space, friendly staff, large and spacious camp kitchen and some of the cleanest amenities we have come across in nearly 3 years of full-time travel.
A real credit to the park managers, Jenny & Andrew.

Tingha Gems Caravan Park now has new caretakers Rebel and her husband Craig. Rebel is a member of one of the major Tin mining families of Tingha. I just spent 10 days there and have had other holidays at this park. Rebel and Craig are doing a great job of keeping the park and facilities clean and they are very friendly and helpful.

As everyone has reviewed Tingha Park has much going for it. But Management have two dogs that do not stop barking every time Management are away. This can be for up to five hours day or night.

If you can stand the noise then the park is a great place to stay.

We arrived at Tingah to fossick for Jelly Bean Crystals intending to stay for a few days, but found at once the Park Manager was like us a Rock Hound and he would take us to areas to fossick. We were joined by 2 more friends from Perth and met up with others there with like interest, ending up staying a week.

Shaun, the Manager, has made this one of the best and friendliest little caravan parks we have ever visited in the 3 years he has been there. The facilities are clean and well maintained and there is a campfire each night at dusk where campers can meet and discuss the day's excursions to nearby locations. There is good fossicking for semi-precious stones in a number of areas (as well as samples and supplies at the park) and Shaun will assist with info and and tag-alongs for those interested at times. The cost is very reasonable and pets are welcome. We'll be back again!!

My husband & I recently visited the park to catch up with a friend. We were quite a amazed at how well kept, maintained & how spacious. Shaun the owner is a lovely man, very helpful. As we don't own a van yet we were unable to stay their this time but we will back that's for sure. We now know that he has a on suite caravan available to let but hopefully we'll have our own van next time. He was most helpful in telling us were to go fossicking as we really love this, we found some amazing crystals and he also has some for sale as well. I would recommend this park to caravaners and tourists.

One of my favorite caravan parks in Australia, quiet, cheap, clean tidy safe and friendly.
If you are a gem hunter, this is a MUST DO !
Arrange self drive fossicking trips, or get some mud maps.
At the park is a lovely clean swimming hole, and yabbies ! Caught enough for a meal, and they were soooo delicious !
Tingha is a great base to explore the gem fields, and you have peace of mind knowing your caravan is safe.
This was a trip with a lapidary club to collect gems, and the manager made us feel so welcome.
Heal so put on great meal of roast pork with all the trimmings for only $10 each.
Facilities are excellent

The caravan park is located just on the edge of town. There are shady trees to set up under or open grassed areas if you prefer. The largest of vans and 5th wheelers can easily get in and set up. The amenities are old but clean and there is generally plenty of hot water. there is a large communal fire pit that tends to attract everyone at the end of the day so you get to meet a lot of fellow travellers and swap stories. Sean the caretaker will go out of his way to help you and give advice on the best local fossicking locations.

Spent a few nights here. Well run with clean facilities including a laundry (very useful after a few days grubbing in the dirt for jelly beans and crystals) and camp kitchen. New caretakers are locals, and Craig was a great help in sending us in the right direction for fossicking.

Tingha Gems caravan park is a great little park that doesn't cost the earth. There is plenty of room with different options. Pet friendly with a big fire pit. The amenities are a little old but very clean and well maintained. This was our second visit there. Centrally located for fossicking for gold, sapphires, Quartz crystals, close to a fish farm where you can feed the fish and fish for dinner and more. Sean the caretaker is full of advice on where to go for the best fossicking.
