Great location and awesome facilities! Everyone around the camp was happy and friendly and the manager was very helpful!! We stayed at a powered camp with shade cloth down 🙂 in a camper and it was great to have a BBQ in a few locations. Coffee trailer was operating so the morning coffee was fresh... the beach is across the road and lake just a short drive or bike ride.

We recently camped here and it was really great. The facilities were clean and they have a fridge in the kitchen which you can store your food if required. The beach is so close, they had movies for kids at night, a coffee van and the pool was heated which the kids loved. Thank you to the staff who were friendly and accommodating.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom cabin for 4 nights and loved it! The cabin itself was super clean and really comfortable. The bathroom had double shower heads and the front deck had a pretty private outlook, making it really peaceful. The site is right across the road from a large beach and the main town of Batemans Bay is only a 15 min drive away. It was pouring rain when we went and we still saw a few wallabies right next to our cabin. They have the cutest coffee stand on weekends (check out the photos) and the staff were all lovely.

Very small park, with permanent vans like most parks in the area, booked for 1 night with a $60pn fee. Completely overpriced, outdated toilets, and smelt with the lingering overload of garbage right next to amenities, amenities were outdated and contained brown water in the toilets and sinks etc Children's playground was right next to the garbage bag.
Beach was perfect but won't stay again..

The owner chased kids out of the park when they were playing basketball. She got a man staying there to put a kid in a headlock who was a minor. The manager was very rude to the local kids who wanted to buy food from the shop but she refused to serve them.

Short walk to to the beach. Quiet park with heated pool, little playground and weekend coffee van. Stayed in 2 bedroom cabin. Fitted out with the kitchen items we needed. The park has a communal BBQ area but we brought our own little gas one and enjoyed BBQing on our own verandah. 10-15 minute drive to Batemans Bay. The only negative was the cleanliness of the cabin . The floors were really grubby and just felt yuck. The couch had a funny smell and the curtain in the kids room was mouldy.

I normally have a great time at the Big 4 South Durras. The staff are mostly friendly and helpful until I went this weekend in May. I had booked a 2 Bedroom Cabin and due to work my daughter and I arrived after 5pm. Only to find just one room was made up. The other room had no sheets put down or blankets available. I asked the next day to have the bed made up and was told to do it myself because there were no cleaners on site. The floors were slippery and not washed, no wiping clothes or dishwashing liquid to wash dishes, and when I asked for a late checkout I was told they need to pay the cleaner time and a half so I was refused. We had gone out the night before so we unintentionally slept in the next day and then I was yelled at in the cabin to leave. It ruined my break away from stress and I was very unhappy with the service. I hope to return but hope the old woman isn’t there when we come back.

Our 2nd stay at Big 4 South Durras and again we had a terrific time. We stayed in one of the couples cabins which is at the front of the park overlooking the beautiful bush. The cabin has everything for a comfortable stay and was very clean. Stock up on your groceries in Ulladulla and cook up a storm and enjoy sitting on the deck - plus plenty of clean BBQs to use. There is no oven but an air fryer, gas cook top and microwave. The beaches at South Durras are some of the best on the south coast and plenty of walks to do in the surrounding Murramarang National Park. It was great to meet the new manager Kim who was up for a chat and very friendly. See you again …..

Stayed one night on a powered site on our way further south, wish we'd stayed longer. The staff are very friendly and the facilities were spotless. There is a concrete slab for outside table and chairs, it borders the national park, has heated pool and the enormous, empty beach is across the road (can't see the beach from park). There are friendly wild birds and kangaroos as well.

We were in a powered site and wanted to extend our stay, but there was no availability over the weekend. It’s located in a lovely wooded setting, but just across the road, there is a beautiful beach. If you’re looking for shops, pubs etc, this is not the site for you, although Bateman’s Bay is just a 15 minute drive away. However, if you’re looking for a well maintained site in a beautiful location, this is the one for you.

Hello. We allow camp fires most times of the year but not during peak times (due to higher number of complaints about smoke) and not when the weather is a fire hazard. A fire permit is required and available at reception. The permit expires 10pm each night. The fires have to be in approved braziers that stand off the ground and protect the grass. If you don't have your own brazier, we have some for hire.
There are more places to choose from in the South Durras area.
