This is the holiday of a lifetime - words can't express how magical it is! The hotel rooms are very basic but clean and comfortable - and to honest you only go there to sleep! I have a bad back but I found the bed really comfortable. Being in the hotel rather than in the lodges (cabins) had the benefit...

Thank you for your review of the Davvi Arctic Lodge. We are pleased that you found our rooms comfortable; we think that this is essential after a day full of snow activities. We feel that our remote location within the heart of True Lapland is our biggest highlight and are very pleased to hear that you and your family had...

I stayed here whilst cycling across Europe. I had sun stroke and pretty bad sunburn. The staff spoke great English, and most of them were English. The fed me, looked after me and treated my burns at no extra cost. They even drove me over to Sewden to post some stuff back home. The hotel was very nice, spacous and...

Took my boyfriend here for his 21st birthday as a package from Transun. We met the reps on the transfer to the hotel, they were really helpful and answered any questions we had. They looked after us throughout the holiday, during the activities and helped us get fitted with thermal suits and boots which are definitely a must.We stayed for...

Am I the only Finnish to rate the hotel? :) We stayed in the hotel on our way to Kilpisjärvi. On their Finnish website was (is?) the price 75e for a double including breakfast. We walked into the reception and the guy (foreign, no Finnish skills) said the price is ninety-something for a double and breakfast 10e/person. We showed him...

I am writing this review having stayed at the Davvi Arctic Lodge in April 2013. The transfer worked well and driving past the fields of laden snow certainly helped "set the scene". The lodge itself is right on the border with Sweden. I was in a room in the lodge which worked well for me as a single traveller as...

Sorry this review's a bit late. Stayed here for seven nights over Easter 2013. This is the best holiday I have ever been on. Obviously much of that was down to the location, snow etc, but the hotel was brilliant. The rooms are so warm and snug, the lounge is gorgeous and it felt so homely. The staff were overworked...

I recently stayed at the Davvi hotel (sister of the Arctic lodge) this year and although spending a lot of money for the room, I experienced the worst holiday ever! Firstly the rooms were disgusting! Dust around the toilet seat a broken mirror - dirty sheets, when I walked in, it was pitch black as the curtains were closed, who...

Hi, We stayed in early March 2013 in Davvi Arctic Lodge. The staff is freindly, good size clean rooms and food is average and filling. There is a hill which is 10-12 min walk from the hotel, the hotel itself in a little hilly location so if you follow the foot path from the hotel it will take you to...

We went in Nov 2012 for 4 nights! We stayed in one of the log cabins in the grounds of the Davvi Lodge! Myself, husband and two children aged 4 and 7. The cabins are lovely and warm (so much so we had to turn the radiator off at night!). Lovely little sauna out the back where we stored our...

Our 7 night inclusive holiday with Transun to this hotel was fantastic value for money. If you read the brochure beforehand you will know what to expect. Let's get the negatives away first. The hotel is "budget", so the rooms are not 5 star. The food at breakfast and dinner was always buffet, quite basic "school dinner-style" and unexciting (the...
