Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I booked the smallest room for a 15 days stay in Preston, the quality of the services were great and I appreciated living there. It's near the convenient stores, shopping centers, restaurants and also public transports. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Very comfortable room. Loved the pool. Would have appreciated tea bags & milk in room (we arrived late when shops were not open). It would have been helpful to have known about the $250 deposit (& the fact it takes 5-10 days to be credited back into bank account). Overall, it was a great place to stay and I would visit again! Thank you.

My husband and I have been staying at Together Co-Living since February 2023. This was our 1st ever accommodation in Melbourne and our stay here since then has been wonderful! The staff here is exceptionally friendly and helpful and would go an extra mile to make you feel comfortable. The rooms are very much comfortable and decent sized with all the amenities which provide a cozy retreat. Other facilities like gym and swimming pool has made the stay even more enjoyable. Moreover, the best thing is its location. Being within the walkable distance to transports and local markets makes our daily activities effortlessly accessible. We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone seeking to stay for long term or short term with friendly environment.

Myself and my wife took a chance on Together co-living for our accommodation, and we were not disappointed. We booked the best room and were very happy with the weekly cleaning of our room and replacement of linen and towels. The bed was very comfortable also. The view from the 6th floor was fantastic, both from within the room and on the balcony. Using the common kitchen wasn`t a big deal as the kettle, microwave and bar fridge in our room was sufficient for our stay. Congratulations to the cleaners and supervisors [especially on the 5th floor, where our closest kitchen was], as the "you use it, you clean it" request was not always adhered to by the residents using that kitchen, and must have been frustrating for them and other guests using that kitchen. The accommodation is in a good location, walk to tram and train, Preston Markets, Woolies and Aldi close by, and good places to get cafe, restaurant and pub food Our stay was very enjoyable. Very good facilities [Gym, Pool, BBQ area, Bar, Cafeteria] and very helpful staff in all the facility areas and especially at the front desk [thanks Sandeep!]. We hope to be back in Melbourne at least once more this year, and will check you guys out first for our accommodation. Thanks for a great stay!

Overall, my experience of staying here was really enjoyable! Here's why. As an international student, I stayed here for a year as my first accommodation in Melbourne. The booking process is simple, and the staying date and duration are flexible. I didn't get to inspect this place as I was abroad then, but the accuracy of the room and facilities between the ads and the actual place blew my mind (positively!). The living experience was dynamic because you could get to know a lot of residents from different backgrounds and many events for newcomers. However, a few notes on the downside, including not enough kitchen space and laundry room (sharing 1 kitchen and 1 laundry machine for around 80 rooms per level was a real hassle), other residents could get noisy at times, and lastly, the change of operational rules. The last point made a lot of disbenefits to me as I had a tight schedule every day (i.e., the evening shuttle bus schedule was changed from evening to afternoon, available towels were removed from the gym and pool, AC temp was controlled from central and bedding was unprepared). I understand it's a good change for the management. But from a resident standpoint who experienced all the changes, I would prefer the previous rules. Moreover, many of my neighbours had challenges with the distance to the City and room price. Just for consideration, I have no problem with those aspects. It’s around 1 hour to the City via train or tram, including the walking and waiting time. In conclusion, if you want a hotel-y experience, fully serviced and full facilities, with flexible contracts and dynamic living with other residents, this accommodation can be a perfect option for you. Finally, I would like to personally thank all the staff who helped me throughout my stay (Sandipa, Darab, Hezil, Maria, and Ria). They were always friendly, active, and available, almost 24/7, so you could feel comfortable, and also the room and kitchen cleaning staff. If the management sees my comment, please convey my greetings and thanks to them. Thank you.

Overall the service was acceptable but one must bring your own shampoo, soap and toiletries. There is no cup or spoon or glass provided so bring your own. There is no hair dryer for loan either. When we were there ror 6 nights there was no cleaning service provided as we requested in the middle of our stay. By the way when you are located on the 5th or 6th floor with windows facing west, it gets extremely hot I the shade is not pulled all the way to the floor.

"Just had an awesome stay at this hotel, and seriously, the front desk crew rocked! Super friendly and helpful right from the get-go. Checking in was smooth, and they were all about making sure I had a great time, giving me the lowdown on where to eat and what to see. The room was super clean and comfy too. But honestly, it was the vibe from the staff that made it feel like home. Definitely coming back here. 10/10 recommend!"

Had a great stay with friendly service, especially from Marianne. She was very welcoming and smiling all the time and so was Darab. The room was as advertised but a bit out of the city. But there was a tram stop just around the corner with direct access to the city centre.
