Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful quiet park located on the south side of Gundagai. . Great overnighter with spacious shady sites and plenty of green space. Very clean and well kept amenities. Easy checkin on the way in, and very welcoming from hosts. We would stay again.

Peaceful country feel but not far from M31 highway. Very clean comfortable accommodation with everything we needed to cook our own meal. We found unit 2 very spacious and modern and we were permitted to bring our dog along. Enjoyed walking around the property to stretch our legs. Even had an outdoor setting.

What a fantastic place, beautiful country side, lovely park including the fairy garden. The amenities are great, from the well designed showers and toilets to the tv room and camp kitchen. The cabins look wonderful as well. Lovely welcome from Rachael who is just the best camp host we have ever come across. The Border Collies , all four are just delightful think our pup had a thing for Buddy🥰. We have enjoyed it so much we keep extending our stay. Thanks again Rachael for all the hard work you do to make Coolac cabins and camping just the best place to stay…

We stayed in the dog friendly cabin. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean and well maintained. Also the kitchen was well fitted out. The bedding was so comfortable and to wake to the sound of kookaburra's was indeed special - and so was the beautiful view from our bedroom. The location was perfect - no highway noise and only 5 mins off the freeway. We really enjoyed the tranquility especially after driving from Sydney in traffic! Thank you Louise and Miles for providing such high level accommodation. This is our new stop over from Melbourne to Sydney - a fabulous mini-break before all the city chaos, Sylvia

Had two overnight stops here on our recent road trip. A clean comfortable cabin in a great location overlooking a cattle farm. Our little dog loved it too. Host Louise was very helpful. Highly recommended.

Very unsafe and poor customer service. Didn't even check to see of anyone was ok. I would not recommend due to their in action. Customer service and checking if everyone is ok when it was your fault should be your main priority

My wife Anne and I had five absolutely beautiful days in our motorhome at this wonderful property at the end of October (2022). The owners Myles and Louise have turned this former dairy farm into an amazing little patch of paradise -- they have planted more than 5,000 native trees and shrubs and made it into a haven for birds and other wildlife. Anne, who is an avid birdlover, spent nearly all her time wandering around photographing and documenting the many species of native birds -- we’ve never seen so many gorgeous little Blue Wrens who run riot around the whole 90-acre property! We felt privileged to be allocated an amazing powered site set on a really large and beautifully grassed area, nestled very privately amongst flowering bottlebrushes, wattle trees and eucalypts, overlooking a cattle paddock, dams and mountain ranges. The Angus cattle herd came to the fence to greet us in the mornings, such docile quiet animals who obviously also love their property! Our site had its own rustic fire pit with table and chairs just for our use, but we couldn’t resist joining the owners and other guests at the community campfire for late-afternoon drinks. Myles and Louise have charmed many guests into coming back regularly and it’s like a gathering of old friends around the fire: we’ll certainly be back too! Many of the very large powered sites have a concrete pad, with trees and shrubs separating each site and creating wonderful privacy and attracting the birds to come visiting all the guests -- just magic! We didn’t get to see inside the cabins, but the new “Glamping Tent-Cabin” has amazing views down over the cow-paddocks and tree-lined creek and dams and beyond to the majestic hills and mountain ridges. Of course, the facilities are absolutely spotlessly clean, and with lovely hot showers. The camp has its own water supply from a pristine spring, great to drink all-year-round. The camp is very accessible, only a few kms off the M31 freeway (main Sydney-Melbourne link) -- just up the highway from the famous Dog-on-the-Tuckerbox.

The cabin we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. The physical surroundings are beautiful, it was great to have the opportunity to go on a scenic walk before hitting the road. Pet friendly as well which our dog enjoyed.

We stayed for two nights en route to Victoria and home. Great dog friendly place to stay. Lovely rural area. Comfortable and clean cabin with cooking facilities and outdoor veranada. Plenty of space to go for a walk with the dog.

We are off on our 10 week NSW road trip, and where do we stay first, one of our most favourite parks. Louise and Myles (owners) have always made us feel very welcome. Spotless amenities, pet friendly, great camp kitchen, clean “big” sites and the fire pit is great to gather around. Highly recommended!
