I was checked in by someone who had a face like a wet weekend. When I tried to charge a drink to my room I couldn't because check in hadn't taken a pre authorisation on my card, so had to go back to reception where wet weekend tried to blame an underling. Shower was a tepid drizzle. The fish &...

Hotel was easy to get to which was the only redeeming feature of our stay. We had prepaid our reservation. They couldn't find the payment in the computer, finally the manager came out and showed them. The room was warm and there was no air conditioner, but the window opened but no screen. We had to listen to the traffic...

Stayed here for 1 night for business and it's an ok hotel. I was welcomed nicely by the receptionist and the check in procedure was quick enough. The room was nice, quite clean few spots in the bathroom that could have been better. Not all the channels worked on the TV so i ended up watching netflix on the laptop....

Booked a family room for myself, wife and 2 teenage daughters as a mid way stop on way to London from Glasgow. Check in was friendly and easy. Hotel was clean and well furnished and our room was spacious despite 3 beds (double and 2 singles). At under £50 for the night, no complaints whatsoever and located just off M1...

Stayed at the Ossett Ramada for 2 nights whilst visiting family. A clean, modern hotel with very friendly and efficient reception staff and comfortable rooms. Unfortunately our first night there were two coach loads of foreign tourists who made a lot of noise in the corridor outside our room late at night and from 6am onwards in the morning. If...

One night stay for a wedding night invite at Dimplewell Lodge. Reception staff very friendly. Ordered taxi for us when we asked if they had a local taxi firm number. Good nights sleep in generous sized bed. My only criticism is you can hear too much from adjoining rooms.

First time at a Ramada on business. Room very clean: bed comfortable. All appliances worked. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had breakfast which was fine though perhaps more different fruit and ham may be helpful. Toaster was fast and efficient - not often found on buffet breakfasts in hotels. Ample parking. Reasonable selection of food in the restaurant at affordable...

I picked this hotel because it appeared the best value for money (£49 for a standard room not paid in advance). There was an issue at check in as my booking appeared cancelled on their system. This caused much consternation from the receptionist and her manager for quite a while at 10.30pm when all I wanted was to check into...
