I experienced great service from the staff. The room was great and it was fairly clean and hygienic. I loved the location as it sits on the river. I liked the Leap of Faith and all the other activities. The only thing I didn’t really like was the food. Other than that it is a beautiful camp.

Cannot speak highly enough of the crew at Licola wilderness village. From the first enquires to checking out is a fantastic experience. Beautiful humble people that will go out of their way to make your stay right without a second thought, because they want to. Lots to do and see. Cabins are clean and comfortable. The whole facility is excellent. Can’t wait to get back!!

We got invited here with another group of families / friends for a kids retreat event, wow this is such an awesome place, event people that lodge here on site were fantastic and knew so much about the area and heritage, there is no network coverage for your devices but your better off without them so you can hit the trampolines, climbing things, walkways, canoes, ropes, wall board games etc (well there is network coverage in one hidden spot, but dont tell the kids) we stayed in the cabins across the back hill, fantastic, lots of native animals behind the fence line with the cows and local dog, if you went on camps at primary school and enjoyed getting back to basics then you will greatly enjoy it here, there is a general store across the road that has the necesdities and some treats, there is also a pay phone outside should the need arise. Cant wait to visit this place again hopefully, i am told it is invitation only to stay here as part of an event, or at least it was at the time we were there, so make sure you triple check as its a long way from the city.

Licola is a 50 odd kilometre drive into the Great Dividing Range from Heyfield in Gippsland. It is well worth the trip, the place is sleepy however you are immersed in nature and if thats your thing you will love it. The Wilderness park is well set up with excellent facilities and a lot of times you get this too yourself! The river it is situated on has the cleanest clearest mountain water, good for fishing, canoeing, swimming and drinking. What peace and quiet and a place to recharge, this is the place.

Licolais now my favorite place. We had our wedding here and it was just magical. The accommodation is so sweet- big rooms, big bathrooms, huge verandahs. Well equipped kitchens and a massive communal kitchen, as well as a bbq area. So many activities to do including trampolining, mini golf, giant chess. Both a pool and the beautiful river two minutes from your cabin. There's even mountains to climb. The staff are so helpful and genuinely welcoming. We will be back for a family holiday soon. If you are near here, do yourself a favour and stay at least a night.
