I discovered this place few months ago and I am so glad! Going there almost every day. Breathtaking view of the ocean, sunset, cosy atmosphere, great and smiley staff! I love it all! Considering most of the 'place to be' are overlooking the street this is definitely the best place where to chill having great coffees, drinks and food! Margaritas and the Mango Chicken are a MUST!

I like this place. Great view. Must be nearly a 180 degree vista. Very quiet at present (obviously). However, one aspect winds me up….. Water. Most places here you get a glass of water on sitting down…from a 6 star hotel to a little cafe: I nearly always get a glass. I order coffee and as I find it a bit strong I like to add a dash of water. Can I have even a tiny dribble of water at the bottom of glass at Suarga? No. They want you to buy a big bottle of their own water. This will be water they have run through a filter at very very little cost to them. Hi, can I please just have a little shot of water from dispenser - no. Buy a big bottle. The ridiculous thing is: if I ordered an espresso I can have a small glass of water. I have a long black - so I have to buy a big bottle. This is plainly ridiculous. The price is the same. Ludicrous. Its the same amount of coffee. Name me another place on the island that refuses you a small drop of water but forces you to buy 750ml of overpriced filtered water? I have explained this a few times: staff will not waver on it. I just want about half a shot glass. Crazy. I have to meet a business partner here sometimes. Otherwise I won’t go anymore, that’s a lot of money lost over a few drops of water……

Response from Management Suarga Padang Padang, Owner at Suarga Padang Padang

Dear Mr , The island of Bali and its people are going through a very difficult time. Many resorts, hotels , home stays and restaurants are closed , we however as a support to our staff decided to stay operational even we are running at a substantial loss since now almost 2 years. About our Water, first we do not run our water as you mention through a cheap filter system. We have our nominated bottling service since 5 years. They clean and bottle our recycled Suarga blue bottles which we over the years collected as part of our sustainability program. The natural spring water bottling happens near Tabanan where we upgrade the water through a Japanese Kangen filter process to become alkaline +/- pH 8.0 - 8.2 as a target. The benefits of Ionized Alkaline water you can read on the internet which by the way you used the complete afternoon with 3 consuming barely anything enjoying the view , our service and our lounge. Suarga has normally a minimum spend policy of 200 000 Idr++ per person which during normal times we do not have to enforce since our regular guests know if they come to Suarga as any other luxury places that the establishment considers this practice as common sense. Due to the difficult times and the understandable low spending power on the Island, since the regular tourist can not travel to Bali, we show flexibility to the local community and anyone is more then welcome , we however request at least the guest is spending and not just comes here to use our internet , our service and our lounge to have a "business meeting". Suarga is not a business centre , there are other places we can suggest you for this. We were reported of the incident where you became very rude to our loyal waiter Silah. Shame on you in these hard times to insult our Balinese staff whom just asked your guests to consume as well which only after over an hour they finally did order a soft drink and a juice. The total spending of 3 guests was reported to be 180 000 Idr including service and tax 21% enjoying a full afternoon business meeting till late in our establishment. As to the coffee pricing. An establishment as Suarga asks in normal times 50 000 - 60 000 Idr for a coffee depending the type which due to the situation has been halved to 25 000 - 29 000 Idr. These prices are similar to the coffee shops in the Uluwatu street , these establishments do not run infrastructure costs as we endure neither enjoy the location. As to come back on the water. Yes during normal times we give a glass of water for free as is common practice with a coffee service. We however decided to bill the water since we had guests just coming to enjoy our internet , our view, our service and our lounge drinking just a glass of water. Our loyal waiter decided to explicitly ask to order a bottle of water, this due to the fact your other guests initially did not want to consume at all and acted in a rude manner to him. We hope to have clarified our position on your comments. Kind regards, Suarga Guardians

We stayed at the ocean view villa and the views are AMAZING. The sunset from there is amazing and we loved to see the ocean from our villa, with many surfers in one of the best surfing spots in the world. The design of the hotel is really beautiful and the villa is awesome, with a great private pool and fantastic area by the pool. The was was okay and the staff did their best, taking into account we were in covid times. I look forward to coming back!

My First experience stayed in Sustainable luxurious Villa Called Suarga Padang-padang Located in Labuansait Uluwatu, Overall was really nice to Stayed. They use Evening Breeze instead of Air conditioning, Very Hard at first cause this evening breeze just cooling in bed area and also the Lamps use the body moving sensors. No TV dan no Phone inside the room and they dont provide the amenities except Soap, shampoo dan conditioner. I don’t slept good anyway, Just too quite Place cause lack of the customers. But for sure i will be back if i have an opportunity and if the pandemic is over. Thanks for the Experience, seeyou soon

The food is disgusting and on top way to expensive! I did not finish my coffee and banana oats. The milk in the coffee was old and the banana oat was just liquid mush! They charge 5* prices, but deliver 0* food. Good luck!
