I had the pleasure to stay at Sal and I had the some of the best days ever. The hotel is modern, sophisticated, with great eating and co-working areas and an amazing pool! The rooms are decorated with and amazing Boho Bali decoration and the bathrooms are open and too die for. Staff is amazing and Ibu is the most lovely lady ever! Great breakfast too. Miguel is an amazing host and will make sure that Sal makes you feel better than at home! Perfect place to stay to enjoy Uluwatu and have some great and chilled time

A lovely place. Beautifully styled and totally peaceful. Well located. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure. Great pool that is actually cold. Plenty of hidden corners where you can get away from other guests should you wish to. Very nice staff and management. I recommend.

I have stayed at Sal and liked it so much that I returned two weeks later and stayed again :) Its simple but very cute and boho style. you have to know they have two buildings one main building with pool and one like 15 min walking away down on Bingin beach. The first time I booked we wanted to stay in their regular rooms by the pool but they were fully booked so we had to split our stay and booked a superior room by the beach for the first nights and omg we loved it so much there- now thinking back it would have been a pity if we wouldnt have stayed there as its so beautiful! The beach building is only accessible via walking and is down on bingin beach where you only get to by walking down several steps. you can check in at the main building which is also alot easier to find as its next to the main road and they will help you with bringing your luggage to the beach property. The beach building itself is white wood all open facing the ocean with only a few steps down to the beach. The superior room also shares a great open living room with amazing views. I loved the bed facing the ocean aand its just amazing waking up there having one of their pancakes for breakfast and jump in your bikini and down in the ocean and spend all day by the beach. The only downside would be that if you wanna go for dinner at night you always have to walk up and down the stairs to get back to your room but for a few days or even just 1 I would def recommend! The rest of the time we spent in a superior room in the main building which was also lovely. The rooms are all different but similar from design and all white- ours had an outdoor bathroom as well. The rooms are designed like a little garden around the pool area and its just the perfect spot to hangout all day and everyone is so friendly. The bar also has lovely smoothies, a few lunch options and I think they had 2 or 3 different options for breakfast (you can select between pancake or joghurt with fruits). So its a certain simplicity - dont expect big buffets or luxurious rooms - but its very lovely and cute and reminds me a bit of Mykonos :) You might wanna rent a motorbike (you can book directly at sal also) as Sal is located in an area in the bukit (uluwatu) where uber is banned. so taxi charges double or more the price you usually would pay. but you can walk to the end of the main road and from there can use gojek (the indonesian uber/grab) again :) would def stay here again and can recommend for couples or group of friends

Just stayed here between 31st December 2019 to 2nd January 2020 with my partner at the main area. Stayed in the suite. Stay at this place only if you understand what has and what it is lacking. Pros - clean - very good staff and service (allowed us to cook noodles in the middle of the night when we were hungry) - quiet and quaint - beautiful pool setting - lovely outdoor shower area (if you like outdoor showers) - very eco friendly hotel Cons - room is a bit dark with little windows - bed blanket is very thin - hair dryer is very weak (bring your own) - no phone to call reception but they are just within a min or less from your door All in all, if you don’t have much requirements and would just love a quiet and friendly place, this is the place for you.
