Detailed Reviews
Good rates, good location. Not far from anywhere in Canberra. The light rail is quite close by, so you can catch a tram into the city and leave your car. The amenities were kept clean and tidy through out the day. Most sites have shade. Drive through on most sites is good too.

A good RV park for the budget conscious. $35 a night for power and water, which is cheap for Canberra. Most sites are drive through, with shade available. Amenities are clean and well maintained. Pleasant staff who collect the fees during the day of arrival. Best to check and make a booking first by phone as the entrance details change from time to time due to shows and events.

I spent the 3 days at the Exhibition Centre for a convention. The convention was amazing, spacious, good signage etc. the toilets were pretty disgusting, I’m not sure the floors have EVER been mopped!
Free wifi in the halls. Canteen coffee hit and miss.

Dirty bar b bqs that were not cleaned at all in the 4 nights we were there! Shower curtain in the ladies had mould and was not sanitary! This was for $40 night! This was certainly not value for money for just power and water. Showgrounds are starting to get more expensive for less.

We drove in. The friendly staff had a sign up at the door saying not to talk to them before the 12 midday check-in time. We were 20 minutes early. Saw 1000s of people walking around and through the scrappy camp sites, who were there for markets and a dog show. We drove out and went to a lovely, quiet, well-kept camp-site next door.

This is a basic caravan park in the showgrounds, without all the resort facilities such as playgrounds and jumping pillows. The powered sites are large and self-selected, suitable for big rigs. The amenities are basic but very clean. The park is close to the city centre, Dickson shops and there is a service station and McDonalds on the edge of the park, as well as the local farmers' market every Saturday morning. Although basic, this has been the best caravan park we have stayed in during visits to Canberra.

This campground is actually at Flemington Rd, Watson in Canberra.
It is a good value, no frills campground for campers and caravanners who do not want jumping castles, water works, kiddy events and other erroneous stuff. You get a good sized powered site - about 1/2 are drive through, adequate amenities (clean), basic camp kitchen, quiet location with outside sites having distant views.
$30 for the night is excellent value, and a big plus, they take dogs. :)
Farmers market is on Saturdays, a good place to stock up on food and it is quite a short drive down Northbourne Ave to the city and the Parliamentary triangle. Next to the Canberra racecourse.
Well done to Exhibition Park for providing this amenity in an otherwise un-pet friendly, expensive town.

With no check in check out time and so many good powered sites this makes camping stress free.
Close to Canberra CBD and so many attractions it was a great option at $33 a night.
Plenty of showers and toilets, not the best facilities but the other benefits outweighed that for us. Quiet camping and lots of shady trees.
We moved here from Capital Country park which was not good, further away and noisy!
Recommend Epic Park for sure if you are happy with basic but close CBD access.

This park is the best value in Canberra, and very convenient and close to everything. There are plenty of sites different sizes including drive through. The amenities are very good and clean. Stopped for two days and ended up staying six.

This park may be close to Canberra and the CBD but that's all its got going for it. If your one of the first few there you will pick up a level site other wise it is all up and down. We were there when it rained and it was a bog hole. Facilities weren't clean and with only one ablution block it is a long way to go from some of the sites, $33 / night after we paid $30 / night at Young Caravan park with concrete slab and grassed areas around the vans and a lovely clean toilet facility this was a let down. A few concrete slabs would come in handy as I don't believe paying top dollar and nothing going for the place.
