I had a wonderful down to earth experience at the lodges. The lodges are gorgeous and I felt like I was a real part of the jungle. The staff are all so friendly and very happy. Rafael, our guide was very knowledgeable and very willing to ensure our experience was memorable. Would highly recommend it!!

This is my second time at the lodge however this time I came not as a tourist but as a volunteer teaching english for 10 weeks in the village of Chino nearby. Staying there longer term gave me a unique perspective on the inner workings of the lodge so I can truly give a well informed opinion. They have an... More

Had the most amazing time with Amazonia Expeditions. The lodge is beautiful, with amazingly comfy beds and good food. Indoors is all mosquito netted so very little risk of getting bitten. Excursions were the stuff to remember for a lifetime- swimming with dolphins, zip lining through the Forrest canopy, canoeing, piranha fishing and loads of other fun stuff to choose... More

Had the most amazing time with Amazonia Expeditions, I spent two weeks with them, done everything from jungle camping, to fishing, to the zip wire! it was amazing, I love just how flexible they are and they suit the activities to what you are up for and your own interests.

The whole trip was amazing. Johnny our tour guide was excellent and the catering and accommodation was superb. We did 4 nights at the man lodge and 3 at the Research Centre. Both were amazing however I would say we slightly preferred the Research centre as it was in more pristine forest which led to better hikes. I would also... More

Five of us, all early 30's, spent four days at the lodge in late October. We had a fantastic time. The lodge and rooms are much nicer in person than the photos I saw on the internet, we had a lovely treehouse style room with a tree growing through the middle. We did lots of great activities, hiking, fishing, zip... More

We stayed 4 days at the Tahuayo Lodge and 3 in the Research Center. We had a fabulous time and one in a lifetime experience exploring the Amazon jungle. The staff couldn't have been nicer, the amenities not more luxurious for the adventure. Our personal guide was very knowledgable and very open to our wishes. Every excursion was a treat,... More

I stayed 4 nights at the lodge and 3 at the research center. Everyone involved couldn't have been any nicer. I saw and did things that I never knew I'd have the opportunity to do. I learned about villagers lives, and how they use trees and plants. I saw tons of animals! As a 60 year old woman traveling alone... More

We totally enjoyed our stay and every excursion. I liked that we had a personal guide who adapted to our needs. There are no "mass tours" or "touristic shows" what gives you an unique experience. Although my mum had some physical problems she could do all the excursions as we took our time and weren't pushed. We saw a lot... More

My partner and myself stayed two nights, it was an amazing for a taster, but we definitely wanted to stay longer! We could recommend at least double, or more than two nights, especially if you'd like to visit the remote research lodge! Our activities included: Swimming with Pink dolphins - Bird watching - hiking to a caiman alligator lake -... More
