We had a confirmed booking through tripadvisor on booking.com but when I called Amazonia Expeditions to pay, the manager angrily demanded to know why I booked online instead of directly, he also was mad that our flights were on Star Peru instead of Lan, although the instructions online when I booked said to arrive by noon and did not specify...

When I planned to visit the Amazon rainforest, I had no idea how amazing it would be. The sights and sounds were like ... being in a Discovery Channel show for a week. But I realize that the team at Amazonia Expeditions really helped make our adventure happen. The lodge and research center were both comfortable and well cared for....

I loved everything about my Amazonian trip. Accommodation, food, service and the fantastic attention I received from my lovely and skilled guide, Celeste, all exceeded my expectations. Celeste clearly loves ‘her’ jungle and delighted in sharing it with me, which made it a very personal experience. We planned each day together with Celeste making suggestions tailored to my interests and...

This Amazon lodge is absolutely amazing! The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel like family and the accommodations are relaxing and impressive considering you are out in the middle of the rainforest. Our favorite thing about this lodge though was that you get your own personal guide so you can do whatever you want and the guides are...

I have gone to this lodge several times because it is such a marvelous and comfortable place to stay. The facilities are clean, the rooms very comfortable and the food absolutely delicious. You can be as adventurous as you like from simply sitting at the site itself and watching birds, butterflies and occasional dolphins or you can experience several days...

I attended 8 day jungle camping trip at the Tahuayo lodge with a guide from the local Chino village. The lodge will be probably one of the best in such locations with attentive staff and great services to make sure safety and comfort of the guests. The guide is assigned to each guest and they will customize the itinerary based...

This lodge is situated deep in the rainforest along the Tahuayo river, with pink dolphins swimming in the river and the vast rainforest all around. Great guides that can show you all the secrets and animals of the jungle. Nice and well kept rooms, very friendly staff and amazingly good food makes this a perfect setting for exploring the rainforest....

We stayed four nights at the main lodge, and two nights at the research centre. We found the smaller centre a bit more intimate, and really enjoyed it. Adrian, our guide, was almost super-human in the frequency with which he spotted wildlife during our excursions. Without him the only thing we would have seen are the pink dolphins. The staff...

We just returned from a wonderful week at Tahuayo Lodge! What an amazing trip! The cabins and common areas are comfortable, clean and "in the midst" of the jungle. We saw many birds without even stepping out of the lodge. Our guides were awesome and spotted all kinds of jungle life I would have never noticed. The food was great!...
