Myself and my boyfriend spent one night in the Haven Room in early October and I have not stopped raving about it since. From the moment of booking everything was handled impeccably by Sandra and Richard and every need was attended to to ensure we had the best possible stay. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and shown to our...

Enjoyed a wonderful visit here with my partner. The rooms were comfortable and well decorated and the owners were a delight. The breakfast was amazing, I can only wish to wake up to those sandwiches again! Will return and will definitely recommend. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Phillip & Ruth

Me and my partner stayed in the Haven room for 3 nights in October and we had a lovely time. It's really easy to get to (just off the a1) and there are loads of places to visit and nice places to eat. Our room had a private hot tub which we used every evening and it was pure bliss....

We stayed here for 4 nights when attending a wedding in Alnwick and it was lovely. We arrived really late (past 1am!) and Sandra waited up for us, with a smile - which was definitely above and beyond! The room was lovely, plenty of space to store everything and lots of little touches like the homemade shortbreads that magically reappeared...

We visited Birdsong Cottage for 5 nights in August and due to availability stayed in both The Haven and Swallows Rest. Both rooms proved to be very comfortable with many extra touches which make this an extra special and memorable place to stay. The Haven is the show stopper with its hot tub and balcony overlooking a beautiful garden. Swallows...

This tucked away little gem is a real find. The proprietors were lovely and very welcoming. I stayed in the Haven, having a roof terrace which was bathed in the evening sun and home to the hot tub. In the morning you can watch the sun rise over the North Sea. The room was clean and the homegrown sweet peas...

My girlfriend and I stayed at Birdsong B&B for a weekend visit to Northumberland and we loved it. The B&B is a stone’s throw away from the A1, and a reasonably short drive away from Alnwick and Seahouses. The B&B owners, Richard and Sandra, gave us a very friendly warm welcome, and were most helpful in recommending places to dine...

What a wonderful place. Delightful hosts, a room where every possible thing has been thought of and a private hot tub to spend the evening relaxing. The bed was high quality and exceptionally comfortable and the room was decorated to an extremely high standard with a boutique feel. We had the perfect break and can't wait to return.
