My husband and I needed an overnight stop during our trip from the Swiss Alps to Provence and I'm so glad we chose this gem. The property itself is centrally located to the highway, but also secluded and quiet. We were lucky enough to be upgraded as the hotel was quiet at the time and our room was absolutely gorgeous....

Chosen for a one-night stopover, we wished we could have prolonged our stay. Nestled in a beautiful wood, manicured garden and vineyards, this little gem is beautifully and comfortably decorated. Despite the winter cold, the hotel was very cozy, the staff discreet and accommodating. Our Australian shepherd was also warmly welcome. Highly recommended. We plan to go for a longer...

Once again a delayed review but so worthy of one. We stayed in the summer for a family gathering and it was an experience loved by all from age 5-65. This place has the wow factor! Beautiful chateau with many character features. We loved our spacious bedroom with roll top bath and huge picture windows overlooking the gardens. The children...

Chateau de Candie sits within beautiful parkland just outside Chambery. The room we had was beautifully appointed and the staff were very good - helpful and friendly. The bedroom is spacious with a large bed and the bathroom was gorgeous. Overall, a lovely feeling of luxury.

My wife and I visited this gem for 3 nights in August 2016. Together with 3 days of sunshine, we were able to enjoy all the amenities of the chateau. An excellent restaurant, definitely worth one star in the Guide Mivhelin, inventive, well served and extremely tasty. Excellent service. Pleasant staff. Without having asked for it we were upgraded from...

We stayed here over the WE for my husband's birthday and had a lovely time. The hotel grounds are beautifully set in the middle of a forest, making it cosy and peaceful. The staff was nice and accommodating (late breakfast and check out at our request). The room was spacious with a king size bed so we slept perfectly! There...

Wow, so impressive to sleep in a chateau. I booked last minute and was most happy with my selection. It was tough to find a hotel in centre of Chambery, so this was a great alternative. The chateau sits on impressive grounds. Check in and out was fast and friendly. My room was beyond spacious and really felt like a...

After a disaster at a previous chateau it was a joy to arrive here. We were welcomed & nothing was too much trouble. We arrived a little early & because our room wasn't ready we were given tea & cake on the terrace with fabulous views. Our room was lovely and the bathroom had the biggest bath.

This is a great place with good amenities and wonderful customer service. The food is wonderfully crafted and the wine selection is nice. The rooms are well appointed. This is not a place for fou fou people, but genuine travellers wanting a real Savoie experience will enjoy this little gem. It's a great eclectic atmosphere in a charming little chateau.
