We wanted a place to stay for the night of Dec. 25th as close as possible to Val Thorens where we were going skiing . It was by fortunate accident that we stumbled onto Petit Hotel Confidentiel . What a memorable and enjoyable stumble . You can call it anything but a hotel , staying there is like visiting old...

At late notice we contacted the hotel and were attended to by Jerome with a confirmed booking. On arrival late in the evening we were greeted by both Jerome and welcomed warmly. Our room had been upgraded and a guide to the local restaurants was provided for 2 hungry travellers. The recommendations were spot on and added another dimension to...

We stayed in a Triplex suite, which was perfect for us and our two children (on a large sofa bed). Some may be slightly worried by the stairs if they have small children but we had no issues. The quality of the room and finish in general was high quality throughout and you really did feel as if you were...

We just had one night here and we probably would have chosen a little less expensive hotel but due to the rowing championships this was the last room in town. No regrets as the price was still reasonable, just under $300 US with parking, the location is perfect and the service was very good. From what I've seen the room...

The owners of this hotel gave the most personal and professional experience I ever had in a hotel. The rooms are spotless and beautifully designed. Excellent location for walking around the old part of the city. By far the best hotel on my trip. Strongly recommend!!!

My wife and I travel extensively and stay in lots of hotels, and we would rank our experience at Petit Hotel Confidentiel as tops! The room we had was lovely, well designed, tasteful and modern. The breakfast was outstanding. The place is so well managed. I don't usually write these reviews, but this hotel was so nice I feel like...

The PHC is situated on a pedestrianised street in Chambery centre. If arriving by car and using sat nav do follow the hotel's instructions and enter Rue du Chateau instead of Rue de la Tresorerie - I didn't and arrived at the wrong end of this one way street. Once there your car is valet parked and the owners strike...

We were at this hotel for 5 nights in September. No doubt this is one of the best hotels that we ever had: Our room was beautifully decorated, was clean and bright with luxurious baths and all you need in a fancy room. The room included a small private balcony from which you could watch the small street where the...

This is what boutique hotels are about. All hoteliers wannabe's pay attention! Personalized service, special experiences, wonderful breakfasts and rooms that you can only imagine. Add that in to the fact that the hotel is expertly run and in the middle of town and the only thing you really need to do is to find and excuse to go again!...
