Combine Italian passion, with Balinese decor, all set on the Caribbean island of Grenada, where the locals have the biggest smile = Laluna. Set in a secluded bay, with only 16 cottages scattered on the hillside. Each with their own private veranda and plunge pool. Laluna oozes romance in an intimate setting with a Bohemian laid back vibe. Italian restaurant with Calabrian roots. Sunset Bar & Lounge on the beach with Daily happy hour and signature cocktails. Wellness Center with an Asian Spa with Balinese therapists and complimentary yoga at our yoga pavilion on the beach and Technogym gym. Sculpture garden in The Enchanted Forest = Art + Hospitality. Laluna is either your cup of coffee or it isn't, especially if you take your coffee with a shot of rum.

We just returned from a night stay at Laluna. It was everything we expected. We stayed in the Beach Front Cottage. It is really the best room there. It is just steps away from the beach. The room was very clean. The bed was the most comfortable one we have had in a while. The room is a bit rustic. That is not bad thing. The bathroom is attached to the room, but it is basically outside. The room has what they call a plunge pool. It is very small, it would be better served if it was converted into a jaccuzi. The beach is small and private. Due to the time of the year, it was quite windy, and the water was a bit rough. We liked the fact that this beach did not have really any traffic on it other than the guests that were staying at the hotel. The food was quite good. And the service was even better. The thing we could not stop talking about was Laluna's New Years Party. It was FANTASTIC. If you are in Grenada for New Years - this is a must attend event. Great food, great service, and great company!

My husband and I stayed here for a not long enough first time to Grenada. It was truly a remarkable property with a wonderful group of staff. We had a few minor issues that were resolved right away when we checked in - safe needed a new battery, hairdryer was melted from the open air bathroom and the heat. Most annoying was the water running out during most showers. Perhaps the pump could use an upgrade or some maintenance? The property itself was exquisite with absolutely non stop views from all over. We stayed in a room at the very top of the property and had an unobstructed view. This did mean the stairs...about 80 down to the main property, and 80 back up. Keep it in mind if you have mobility or orthopedic issues. It was grueling but what a way to walk off the calories from the sweet island drinks! Speaking of drinks, the island itself could use a bit of an overhaul on their cocktail programs. Most cocktail menus were loaded with sweet drinks so I was very grateful the kind bartenders at Laluna were happy to make fresh cucumber juice and vodka for me as an alternative to the more sugary drinks. (It was wonderful and should be added to the cocktail menu!) The week we were here the water was a little rough on some days but we did manage to get in. The beach is really private and generally all Laluna guests. There were guests who woke early and saved their favorite chairs daily which is a very off putting practice, but we still managed. There is plenty of shade from the sun if you need it and plenty of sunny spots as well. The music playing was absolutely fantastic! My spa service (massage) was "meh" and was not the best ever, but certainly not the worse. Not worth the $200 USD in my opinion. We had daily breakfast here and the fresh fruit juice of the day was always my favorite! Every meal was great. Laluna was a great retreat after a long day of exploring the island. I noticed some guests looked like they barely left, which isn't for me, but if you're inclined to hang around and just relax, it is a wonderful spot! This property may not be for everyone, it just depends on what you're looking for. Any small complaints I may have were offset by "it's the caribbean, and things are just a bit different" here. I would recommend this property for anyone who likes the rugged/upscale contrast. Of note the coffee in the room was a bust. The press didn't work and we had grounds in our coffee. It would have been wonderful to have a properly working keurig or similar in the room for coffee in the morning. Not the end of the world, but this would have made a difference. All in all, we really loved our stay here. If returning again, I doubt we would return as we don't repeat hotels, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't recommend it to someone who may find it to be for them. Aside from the gentlemen who was at the front desk during the day seeming as if we were bothering him at times, the staff was incredible. We had a few really wonderful conversations with housekeeping as well - not sure of names, but one woman in particular was really excited to hear what we explored on her beautiful island. Truly the people of Grenada were some of the kindest we've encountered. Guests were happy to be here, as were we! Thank you for the lovely stay!

Great hotel, service, and food! Thank you! The cottage had a great view and privacy. It was true paradise. The air conditioned bedroom with an outdoor bathroom, plunge pool and deck allowed for luxury with a true taste of the tropics.

My experience at Laluna, November, 2021, was absolutely fabulous. In particular, Tracey, the concierge was one of the most positive personalities I have encountered in over 20 years of leisure travel. The accommodations were pristine, the entire staff so attentive to quality service and all of it capped off by Tracey's leadership that was evident throughout the week. There was nothing she didn't provide with our a smile and she anticipated all of our families needs---even making nutmeg pancakes an addition to the breakfast menu !! A magical resort in its service, quaintness and beauty
