Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What more could you ask for. Large sites with power and water, a very clean comfortable ablutions block, friendly hosts who deliver a plate of sensational scones with jam and cream on arrival. We only stayed the one night but highly recommend.

What a great park this is. When you arrive and receive fresh, tasty, scones, jam and cream, how could you not be impressed. We had, foolishly as it turned out, only allowed a one night stay in Laura, a decision we regretted. Even so we could stay hitched up when parked on our site, which was quite generous. The park showed a great deal of care with the maintenance, and was very clean, as was the town itself.

Laura township is very close, as is the pub.

We are looking forward to a return stay, but for much longer.

What a beautiful caravan park in a beautiful old town! We were greeted with complimentary scones, cream and jam. The facilities are clean with little touches like non slip shower mats and floor towels for your feet. There are large grassed areas for non powered camping and lovely garden walks.

Stayed 2 nights in our caravan. Elected for an unpowered site to test our new solar panels. Quiet and relaxing. Well equipped camp kitchen with fridge, microwave, pizza oven, electric hotplates and generous range of kitchenware. Bath mats are provided in the bathrooms. A welcome plate of warm scones with jam and cream are given on check-in. The park is within walking distance to the North Laura Hotel and to the shops. A park is opposite. Highly recommended.

The owner/staff were very friendly and kind. They even brought us scones for afternoon tea! Such a delightful touch.
It was clean, had everything we needed. Room for a port acot. Aircon worked well as it was hot. Fan in cabin bedroom has remote which I liked as could control light/ fan from bed hehe
Nice grounds for camping too.
Probably one of the nicer caravan parks I’ve stayed in.

Only thing I struggled a bit with was squeaky floor in the dining area as I had a Bubs and was trying not to wake him up.
Would stay again.

We have been there twice now and love the Caravan Park. Many and Peter are the nicest hosts we have ever had. They were extremely helpful and when we got our Caravan powered site, they came over to make sure we were happy and presented us with scones, jam and cream. A beautiful touch. The toilets and showers have been recently updated, the Camp kitchen had everything we needed with gas bbq etc. and even had a wood heater to keep us warm. We sat around it on a cold night with others we met and had a good chat. Peter came over and made sure we had plenty of wood. They have been working so hard to transform an area of scrub behind the park into a lovely park area for walking. It has stone edged paths, nice grass area etc. and will be fabulous when finished. Well done.

Ulysses South Australia Breakfast Club at Laura this weekend. Managers Mandy and Peter couldn't have been more helpful. Devonshire Tea for 50 of us on Friday, provided a bbq trailer for our dinner in the well equipped large camp kitchen for 65, spotless roomy cabins, grassed shady sites. Perfect place for big groups or a couple weekend. Pub just across the road and charming main street. Laura Caravan Park will be a regular fixture on our calendar.
Thank you Peter for the gift of the crafted old saw.

We had a two night stay on a powered site. The managers, Mandy and Peter were some of the best we have encountered in our eleven years of caravanning. They directed us to our sights and told us to set ourselves up before paying. The scones, jam and cream we were given when we went back to the office to pay was very much appreciated. The park is very neat and tidy and the camp kitchen has everything you need to cook and then eat around the wood fire. We look forward to returning in the future to see the work Mandy and Peter are doing behind the cabins to accomodate campers. Thank you Mandy and Peter for a great two days.

We stayed at Laura Community Caravan Park for a few days, and were so pleased with the wonderful service, extensive Camp Kitchen and clean amenities.
The Managers provide a plate of scones, jam and cream on Check-in and the Office holds a myriad of quirky locally made produce and trinkets.
The campfire every night near the Camp Kitchen is a great place to unwind and discuss where next to visit in the surrounding area.
The sites are offset from each other providing both extra space and privacy for each van.
We will definitely be back to this great Caravan Park.

Well managed park with friendly management and a good vibe. New arrivals greeted with scones and jam! Neat and well maintained this park is a delight to stay at. The sites are a good size with both drive through and reverse parking for caravans. Nice little town within reach of several other interesting towns.

the Laura C/P is big enough for 5th wheelers and yes they do accept pets/dogs. As for the availability on the 2cnd & 3rd of Oct you would have to give them a ring.
