My wife and I satyed here for a night out at the Shakespeare Festival. Although check-in wasn't until 5pm, we called ahead and were told we could arrive early as the room had been cleaned. We checked-in and immediately went to the pool. The pool was clean but a little cold (even in the middle of a hot summer). There...

This was a great choice to stay, while enjoying the Thousand Islands, on my way to Quebec. I stayed in Sarah's room, which was a treat. I had a separate area with bedroom, 2-piece private bathroom, and my own second floor porch. A very nice bathroom with great shower facilities was close by. Breakfast was delicious! Ownership has changed within...

We rode bicycles up from Kingston on a hot day. As we rolled in to the driveway, Mike called out to us by name! The full-size swimming pool was a lovely surprise for out hot and tired bodies. Mike gave us a nice spot to tuck our bicycles in overnight, which was very much appreciated. Our room was recently renovated,...

My wife and I reserved a room at this B&B based on reviews and endorsed by friend who acts in St. Lawrence Shakespeare. We arrived late and were warmly greeted by Mike, the proprietor. He quickly registered us and helped take our bags to our room. We haven't stayed in many B&Bs and so I didn't notice that it was...

When an owner takes pride in what they do it is evident. Mike clearly takes immense pride in The Colonel's Inn -- and it shows in all the little details. I would absolutely come back and/or recommend The Colonel's Inn to friends.

The Colonel's Inn was a stellar experience for our family. Their hospitality was exceptional! We felt warmly welcomed by the host and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Our suite was very clean and well-stocked with towels, a hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner. The air conditioning was wonderful! It felt like home. My son and I are gluten-free and our...

We stayed at the inn on our way to Toronto from Vermont . It was a very pleasant experience with great breakfast and very reasonable.
