Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed in a powered site in our camper trailer for four days and we had a wonderful time. The owners certainly looked after us, with the facilities always clean, the surrounds always looking fresh and tidy and nothing being to much trouble. We had an open fire in the raised fire pit, and the camp kitchen was really well appointed. We even had a travelling group of musicians entertain us each night in the camp kitchen. A wonderful caravan park, with beautiful views of Lake Alexandrina, we will certainly be back.

Well to say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement, stumbled upon the riverside holiday park when looking for local places to stay with the camper trailer, really friendly when booking. And really friendly when you rock up. Fantastic views, it is as it says, it’s on the riverside and almost all sites have a river view, just spectacular. When your able, they can hire a fire pit and you can buy wood, cheap as! Clean amenities block, lovely camp kitchen with a wood burning fire inside that’s so welcoming. If you never heard of it, look them up, if you have never been, I suggest you make a booking, they have cabins and on site vans for hire. It’s such a lovely atmosphere the greatoutdoors for the kids and relaxation for the big kids! It’s no big 4 and thank god for that, we will be back and will recommend to anyone!
Try it, you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic little hidden gem with spectacular views across the bay. This is a nature lovers paradise with so many different varieties of bird life and amazing sunsets. Danny and Claire made the stay very enjoyable and they have constructed probably the best camp kitchen I have used in many years of travelling. We will be back for sure

We stayed here for 5 days on a waterfront site. The waterfront sites can be quite windy at times. The park is on several levels so that most sites have views over the bay. The ammenities are exceptionally clean and the camp kitchen is modern and well equiped.
The owners and their mum are super friendly and helpful.
We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Beautiful, grassed and spacious caravan park. Quiet, views from all sites, right on the water. Easy canoe and boat access. Highly recommended. Well managed by the owners. Well kept amenities. Great camp kitchen. Dogs allowed. Fire pits and wood available.

This is a lovely caravan park. The owners bought it in a dilapidated state and have been upgrading it ever since. The owners were lovely, helpful people. The park is lovely and the amenities are terrific, they even offer use of a boat if you want to go out for awhile on the water.

We made the mistake of picking a site on the waterfront that backed on to several permanent sites (a last minute change of mind on arrival). On the Friday evening two separate families arrived, and it was bedlam. The kids cut past our site to get to the water, which set off our dogs. On the Sunday one of the permanents decided to redo his verandah and he used a chain saw and concreting machine all afternoon. It really destroyed the serenity of the location.

Not the caravan owners fault, we’d love to come back but will choose the site with more care next time. So, if you are not into kids and noise, don’t park in front of a permanent site with bicycles and kayaks locked up lol.

Still 5 stars for the location.

This caravan park has great new owners who have carefully and thoughtfully upgraded this beautiful park. Amenities are fresh and clean and the grounds are so well tended. We had an onsite caravan for 2 nights and had a blast. Affordable, warm and comforatable, the van offered a tv, reverse cycle system and everything you need for cooking and dining. Being on the waters edge and close to nature is always a huge bonus for us. Highly recommend and high praise for this terrific caravan park. It is as it claims a hidden gem that we keep returning to.

Stayed in the Boatman's Cabin for three nights and it was superb. The cabin is very well equipped and fitted out. The firepits around the campsite make for a magical atmosphere. Hopefully I will be back
