Detailed Reviews
We stayed in a two bedroom apartment over a weekend. Really nice apartment, with everything you need. Full kitchen, laundry and great spa bath in the main ensuite.
The apartments are in a great spot with lots of dining options within walking distance. Loved sitting on the balcony looking at the ocean.
After browsing through Agoda and booking.com, we actually ended up booking direct through the hotel itself. The rates were much cheaper!
Overall we think this is great value for money and would highly recommend.

Stunning views as Resort is right on the Esplanade. Location is great But very busy road in front. Lovely Unit with balcony in front and back. Front balcony, lounge and main bedroom had stunning views of beach and ocean. Back balcony had views of a lake and park.
Unit had everything one could want with laundry. Bed was very comfy.
Negatives: For our unit parking in basement was quite difficult. A lot of manoeuvring even for a small car.
There is an Indian Restaurant on ground floor and the smell of spices etc would come into unit from the back balcony. Once the back door was closed though you did not have the smell. It can be very noisy on Friday nights as there is a popular bar just down the road which attracts the locals.
All in all it is a lovely place to stay with friendly and helpful managers.

We were so pleased that we chose this lovely resort. With Maroochydore a quick bus ride away, Mooloolaba a beautiful 30-minute beach promenade away and grocery stores and cafes within 5 minute's walk, this resort is in the perfect spot for those who enjoy the beach, sand, sun and leisurely strolling. The hosts were lovely and even though we arrived early for check-in, we were accommodated and our room was ready. So convenient for a break on the Sunshine Coast.

Aquarius is in an ideal location. Our unit had expansive views of the ocean and a skate park across the road. It also had views, and the accompanying noise (7.30am to 5pm), from extensive retiling being done around the pool.
The studio unit was clean and tidy with everything you need. The cupboard is small and there is nowhere convenient to put larger suitcases. The bed proved to be very comfortable.
A three minute walk in either direction will bring you to strip shops with the usual suspects - cafes, takeaways (Asian, seafood, pizza, burgers, bakeries, small gocery stores). We had a delicious brunch at Milk and Beans, located to
the right of the "resort" entrance.
The walk up to Alexandra Headland's Lookout is delightful, and an achievable stroll even for the unfit.
Just behind the Aquarius is a lovely wetland park with moor hens, wood ducks and swans.
The entrance to the Aquarius can be tricky. If driving, turn into the driveway next to the Indian Restaurant and try to park - they have a penchant for putting witches' hats in the parking spaces. There is a second entrance to Reception on the side of the building. The reception operates in a slightly disorganised, but very friendly, manner.
Even if the pool had been operational, it is much smaller than the professional photos suggest. Given that there are still plenty of vacancies due to Covid, there is probably better bang for your buck elsewhere. It is disingenuous to charge over $200/night for no pool and full days of banging and drilling. At least for now, it would pay to shop around.

Wasn't really happy was booked and paid for 7 nights only lasted 5. Were given 2 towels to last 7 days. Nail clippings on the floor by the bed. Greasy mark on the coffee table. Spar bath but not clean. Had a foxtel box but wasn't paid up. Dishwasher blocked so had to clear it. We'll situated with surf club etc. The final straw for us was the sewage pipe leaking on the windscreen of our car. Unit34.

We spent 3 nights here and looking out over the beach and pool. So handy to cafes, restaurants and Surf Club, all of which have good meals and friendly service.
Our apartment was spacious and had everything with comfortable king bed, very clean and a secure car park. Very quiet once the patio door was closed. Our unit 33 had a spa in the bathroom. Excellent.

We stayed for a couple of nights mid week. It was excellent value for money. A lovely spa bath, very clean apartment overlooking the ocean and well located with just a short walk to the Alex Surf Club and a variety of other restaurants and amenities. The service was very friendly. I would highly recommend Aquarius Resort.

Newly renovated and you get what you see in their ads. Parking underneath. Easy check-in and out. Beach across the road. Few minutes drive to shopping centre and good restaurants around the area. Highly recommended when visiting Sunshine Coast.
