Spacious, exceptionally clean and very comfortable with outstanding views over beach from front balcony. Balcony out back facing over park grounds means you get all day sun. Overall made for a fantastic relaxing holiday. Very secure, inc. secure basement parking.

We stayed in room 601. The apartments are in a great part of Alexandra Headland, with views over the beach. The apartment was clean and tidy, the managers of the property are very accommodating and friendly. Its a quite block of units. There were very few negatives about the unit but being such a fuss pot I did find some, however small. A spatula / scraper utensil in the kitchen would have been good. The lift had a couple of glitches but were repaired quickly. The heating was noisy. The furnishings in the lounge need updating and it is a bit clinical in there. The main bedroom was lovely and the view is to die for. Some board games would have been ideal.

A group of work-friends and I decided to get away for a weekend and bunk down and relax, we booked in advance and got a spectacular deal on the penthouse suite.

The weather that greeted us was unbelievable, the wind, the rain, the foam from the surf!!!!

However, the hospitality we were shown left us feling like we were staying with long lost relatives, and nothing was too much of a hassle.

The unit was amazing, and for 6 adults, the space to chill was phenomenal. Not once did we feel like we were trampling on top of one another.

Will definitely stay here again. And again. And again.

Apartment was clean and spacious but very dated. Major construction next door which was noisy and busy with trade vehicles and trucks coming in all day and constantly blocking the street. Very expensive in comparison to similarly priced hotels on the Gold Coast which were modern, had better facilities and amenities and were surrounded by many more restaurants and shopping options. Way too expensive at nearly $190 per night (one bedroom apartment) for the quality of the apartment complex. Very disappointed and would not recommend unless price was around $120 - $130 per night.

We stayed here for two nights. The apartment was specious, but lacked of cleanliness.
The location is great, just across the road is the beach.
Small shops and cafes and bakery are close by as well.
Somehow Sunshine Coast is a must see place.
Reception was very friendly and helpful.

Stayed 2 nice in a 3 bedroom apartment with friends. The units are nicely designed with a great balcony view overlooking the beach. All you need available in the apartment and a comfortable size for 6 people.
Close to,some nice resturants and cafes too!
Clean and the managers are very helpful and friendly.
Would definitely consider returning if coming to the area.

Lovely to find that the description online actually matched reality. Only a short walk to small supermarket, chemist, bakery, fish and chip shop and restaurants. Excellent unit, very well stocked, friendly staff. Everything worked as it was supposed to, with complimentary wine and chocolates on arrival and free daily local paper. Trolley available to move luggage etc from basement car park via lift to unit. Just another example of a small but significant touch that gives these apartments the well deserved excellent rating.

First thing we noticed was how clean and spacious the rooms were. Great views front and back of apartments, kitchen had all the essentials, lovely big balcony to sit out on and enjoy the ocean views, lots of places for eating. Margo and Gary were lovely, helpful and made you feel very welcome. Wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely come back and stay.

We had a superb week at the Meridian in late September 2013. The spacious 3 bedroom apartment was extremely comfortable, well furnished and clean with every modern convenience. There were six of us - 2 grandparents, our daughter and 3 children aged from 5 to 10 years of age. The 4 bunk beds in the 3rd bedroom were ideal and enabled our daughter to have her own room. The heated pool and jacuzzi were very popular with the kids as was the basket ball practice ring. These apartments are perfectly located for the beach, shops and Sunshine Coast attractions e.g. Aussie World and Australia Zoo. We even had a day trip to Sea World on the Gold Coast, but we were glad to be staying well away from the crowds further south. I can thoroughly recommend the Meridian for a great family holiday. We hope to back in the future.

On arrival we were upgraded to the penthouse which was a lovely bonus as this included a roof top deck. Spectacular views from the substantial balcony were soaked up each morning. The beds were comfortable and the sound of the waves at night provided a relaxing background. A well-equipped kitchen was appreciated as was the friendly service from Margo and Gary. A comfortable walking distance into both Maroochydore and Mooloolaba as well as the Alex Surf Club only a few steps away are benefits of the central location. For the bargain price we paid, we would certainly recommend this apartment.
