The park was well kept, clean and tidy. We had a caravan. There was a bin for us to share with the site next door that got emptied every day. Each camp site was separated by a palm tree hedge which made it fell much more private and your own space. Heated pool and games room was a hit. Walk to shops and beach. We will be back and have re booked :)

We love staying here. The cabins are fantastic: modern, clean, good sized kitchenette & allocated parking right next to the cabin.
The staff are always so nice & polite.
The price is definitely worth every cent, we don’t think it is over priced at all.
The park facilities are great: the kids love the pool (looks like it’s been upgraded, looks really nice) & the little playground. The laundry has everything you need and is always immaculate. The park itself is kept so clean all the time. There is also bbq’s to use near the pool.
The location is so central to everything! The beach is only a few minutes away & you can hear the waves crashing from the cabins. The beach itself is just perfect & patrolled - remember to swim between the flags! There is also a convenience store only a few minutes walk away (across from the beach) but the sunshine plaza is a 5 minute drive away.
Whatever management is doing, please keep it up because you guys are on a winner!

The staff are very helpful, park very clean and tidy, lovely clean pool and area as well as been heated. The sites are of a good size, to park your car and boat if you have one, and just a short walk to the beach and a swim in the surf. Amenities and nice and clean, there is a short walk to some shops IGA and BWS also fish and chip shop and the local watering hole. Great place to stay at a reasonable price, highly recommended we will be staying there again.

Pros and Cons - Stayed in a cabin, which catered for our needs and had a bit of space. It was centrally located and easy to find. And really close to a Spar, fish and chips and pub.
A little disappointing after a 8 hour drive that we had to make the single beds up and also the WIFI never worked up our end of the park after many attempts. And I'm not sure why but the foxtel didn't work either. I wouldn't stay again for a long weekend, as there were lots of noisy gatherings with kids racing around the park very late at night. Although once the weekend was over it was really quiet. Pool area was nice when you could get a spot.

Dear Guest. Thank you for your welcome feedback on your stay with us. We are very pleased to know you were able to take advantage of our great location but sincerely regret that we let you down in any other way. We should explain that unlike a hotel, our secondary beds are not always used in every stay, so to meet exacting hygiene regulations packs of fresh linen are given at Check-in to guests who included these beds in their reservations. We advise our guests of this in our Confirmation Letters, and it is also on our website and those of online travel agencies. Despite our best endeavours to ensure our WiFi system is up-to-date, we know that it can be challenged at times of peak occupancy such as during your stay. We apologise for any inconvenience this caused. It was a pleasure to be your hosts, and we hope you will visit us again - and that your next stay will memorable for only good reasons. We have stayed at this park on and off for 7 years and the past 4 years for our Christmas. Previously we have loved staying here - clean and tidy and friendly. In December 2018 we booked a specific site with deposit paid and confirmed in June. I called in November to make sure because this year we were going to bring the boat as well. The lady confirms the site so all was a go. When we turned up we had been moved to another site with our booked site occupied by another. We tried to talk to management but they couldn’t be bothered to call back, instead we had to go looking for them. He then proceeded to act like the site we wanted was never booked but then said that the notes said 2 cars and boat and caravan, so he gave himself up. No apology, no fix and all he said was we could put the boat at the cabin across from us (where someone else was staying!!) I don’t think so!! Amongst that, the new pool was dirty with a nice ring of slime around the top, the toilets were filthy and the atmosphere was dull.
Worked in our favour though because we have now found a better park around the corner that is more family orientated, has more activities for kids and has Xmas activities for all the family.
This park is well suited for older travellers but has expired on the family stays..

Dear Guest. Thank you for your Review and your welcome comments. Among the many thousands of happy guests and their families (some now 4th generation visitors), it is disappointing to know we have let you down in any way. We apologise sincerely. Our investigations clearly show a breakdown in communications regarding the site number booked, and that perhaps no reference to our Park Map on our website was suggested. Our research shows that the previous sites you have stayed on would not have accommodated a caravan and a boat, (and the 2 vehicles would have had to be parked in the external carpark away from your site). The site number you stayed on this time was that which was the site number booked at origin of the reservation, (a larger site), and this site number was never changed during the reservation process. We are always happy to accommodate reservation changes whenever possible, however, at the date of your arrival (and throughout your stay) all sites were fully occupied and unable to be changed. We understand how this miscommunication adversely affected your stay here, and we deeply regret the angst and inconvenience caused. It is saddening to lose valued guests, but we understand and respect your decision to stay elsewhere in the future, although please be assured a warm welcome will always await you and your family here. It has always been a pleasure to have you with us, and we wish you happy and safe travelling. Your Management and Staff

Unfortunately, we had to cancel our booking due to the uncertainty with COVID19 in QLD with the latest developments. After speaking with Marion in reception, who was very unhelpful, refused to give us the name of the manager on numerous occasions to discuss our situation and after promising to call us back never even bothered but instead sent us an email refusing to refund our money. It’s pretty bad service and we will never ever stay there or recommend Alex Beach Cabins to anyone.

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback and we regret that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion. It is not appreciated at all when you call our office and are rude and abusive to our staff. This particular booking was not even in your name, was made through Booking.Com where the terms and conditions are clearly visible during the booking process and are attached to make it quite clear. You were also told that you needed to speak to Booking.Com as the booking was not made directly with us. You chose to cancel the booking the day before arrival when there was no covid travel restrictions at all, nor were any borders closed, The only Covid restrictions in place was to wear a mask indoors. The previous Brisbane lockdown had finished 10 days prior to your arrival date. In short you made the decision not to travel. Booking.com Cancellation Policy Non-Refundable: Note that if canceled, modified, or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation has been charged. Prepayment: You'll be charged a prepayment of the total price at any time.

When I booked in here I misread that a double cabin was two rooms but it turned out that we were all in the one room. It was further from the main patrolled beach than suggested on the website. The beds are comfortable and the room was very clean. There was no place to hang wet towels and togs either than on the outside railings, it rained, so we had to hang them on furniture inside. The air conditioner took a while to kick in. The pools could be bigger because they are well used and it was crowded. It is a pity that the cabins along the fence do not have the decks facing the pond because it. Would have been good to sit there and look out over the pond with it’s birdlife. The pond is a real plus. My grandchildren had a whale of a time feeding the birds on oats and one of the swans allows itself to be petted. The staff are very friendly and efficient.

Dear Guest. Thank you for your Review and valued feedback on your time with us. We sincerely regret that any issues adversely affected your stay, but delighted that your grandchildren were able to enjoy the relaxing lake. The lake was constructed by our local Council after we had built our lakeside cabins. We are mindful that distances can be misleading, so we should clarify that on our website on the About Us page, and in any advertising, we refer to the patrolled beach at Alexandra Headland as 400 metres from us and can be accessed by walking along Alexandra Beach which is a 5-minute walk of 180 metres. It was a pleasure to be your hosts, and we hope you - and your grandchildren - will visit with us again soon. Your Management and Staff

Cabin was relatively clean, although the bathroom roof had mould, and there were a few stray hairs in the bath tub.
Air conditioner was mouldy, and had a funny smell, you use a key to turn it on and off which is weird , the remote for the aircon didn’t work so we could not increase or decrease the flow of air or direct the air away from the bed, which was frustrating.
It was nice and quiet and the kids enjoyed that an ice cream truck did a round of the premises which was great.
We didn’t make it to the pool as it was just way too full, so some more or bigger facilities like that would be a great improvement, and help all guests feel like they can make the most of their stay.
Apart from a few little things we really enjoyed our stay.

Dear Guests. Thank you for your generous Review and welcome suggestion and comments. We sincerely regret that any matter adversely affected you stay with us and fell below your expectation - and ours. They are being investigated seriously. Our guests are encouraged at Check-in to advise us as soon as possible (24/7) of any issues they are having and we will take immediate remedial action. For that reason, we have a live-in Maintenance Manager and he is always happy to attend to such matters. Had we known of your issues we would would certainly have attended to them immediately. In relation to the air-conditioning, as with hotels and other accommodation properties worldwide which require the door access card to be inserted in a slot just inside the room to activate power, lights and air-conditioning, our Park has for many years used this system but presently for air-conditioning only. We have long had a strong corporate responsibility toward our environment, and this is just one of many ways we contribute to our commitment to this corporate responsibility. It was a pleasure to have you and your family as our guests, and we hope that your stay with us will be memorable for only good reasons. Your Management and Staff

The cabin itself was great. The swimming pool is right next to the visitor car park which is a minus. The internet is terrible. I phoned and was told there’s nothing wrong with it (that’s because their equipment is likely connected bia Ethernet cable not using wifi). A search of available wifi revealed that there are a heap of people using their phones to hotspot because they are having a similar issue.
I specifically asked if there was good wifi and was assured there was. Clearly there isn’t which has resulted in me finding alternatives.
Time to improve it. People like myself come here for other reasons than to just park a mobile home or caravan and suck on a stubby.

Thanks for your review and thank you for your feedback, it's great to see that overall you enjoyed your stay with us, but we regret that we have let you down in other areas of our business. Over the past 18 months we have spent a lot of money upgrading our WiFi to improve coverage across our entire park, however during our very busy school holidays we did have a huge amount of devices using our network which did slow it down unfortunately. Compounding this were issues with Telstra coverage in our area which was resulting in poor WiFi connectivity. Our data is supplied through towers around the Sunshine Coast and is then sent through park on Wi-Fi routers with no use of ethernet cables. We are continuing to invest in our Wi-Fi system to supply adequate data for all guests. We want to thank you for choosing to stay with us and we hope to see you again on your next holiday adventure.

A pleasant 2 weeks. Good facilities, close to beach and other attractions. Plenty of room for big vans with good size annexe pads. A few mm of rain during our stay freshened the grounds. Everything was green and clean.
Pool was very popular with visiting grand children, one part being heated would be nice in cooler months. I would recommend definitely to travelling caravaners.
